If there was a really survey done... my guess would be that it would actually be more of a tie than at either extreme. I'm a girl, and I don't just read shoujo... by the way.

Dark(Black) Horse was on of the companies that had the article lol. I know this because I did a Manga research paper for my senior paper in highschool.
