Girls read more Shoujo stuff while guys read stuff like Claymore/Bleach etc, but hey girls do too :D, it's just that I never met a guy who reads stuff like Shugo Chara.. o_o;.

If I were to give an educated guess (and by educated I mean completely BS-ed) I'd have to say the split is at Girls 58% and Boys 42% just because of the sheer number of Romance/Drama/Romantic-Comedy (is that even a term? ) manga out there. |

CLAYMORE is a wonderful manga!!! And generally, I (girl) prefer shonen manga because most shojo barely have a plot and is usually boy+girl = instant love. But I do like stuff like Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club. AND MANGA IS BETTER THAN ANIME!!!
Getting back to the topic, I definitely think that girls outnumber the boys given the ratio of comments on this forum (I know, it could just mean that the boys are too busy playing whatever online games available to just take their eyeballs off the screen to submit their opinion. Not that I really want them...) and the ridiculously increasing number of shojo manga.
