The Manga... Or The Anime?

Hey, I was just curious.... Do IchiRuki fans prefer the manga or the anime of Bleach?
This topic can also serve as mini-discussion about whether IchiRuki as a pair is portrayed better in the anime or the manga, too. (Yes, I know they are pretty much the same, but there are fillers as well!)

Me personally, I like them in both. (I also read & watch Bleach!) Without the manga, there would be no anime, but the anime does really bring those special IchiRuki moments to life. (Yes, I have an imagination, but sometimes I'm to lazy to use it, ya know?)
Plus, the anime also has a couple bonus IchiRuki finds... Like the 2nd last ending of the Bleach anime! (Not the one that's being used currently for the episodes, the one before it.) ^^;;

What does everyone else think? Anime/Manga/Both? Why?

I think the manga better portrays IchiRuki, cuz to me, IchiRuki seems more epic in the manga than the anime
(I think many Bleach-fans care about action in the anime instead of the focus on the relationship b/t Ichigo and Rukia)

other reasons:
its from Kubo himself (no added stuff fr. the animators)
I like the poems in the beginning of every volume
I dont like the fillars

of course I do love all the IchiRuki moments in both!

I first saw Bleach as an anime and preferrably like the anime better, but then the manga has a deeper depth into the story. so I like both of them lolz...
