Hatori is the year of the dragon. The reason he is a seahorse is because it translates to dragon in Japanese. Also the Chinese thought that a seahorse was a baby dragon.

I love fruits basket! my favorite characters are Hotsuharu and Kyo........grrrr...they are tied... anyways I love the show and it is one of my favorite animes of all time.... Ayame is funny and has major issues. |

I like the anime cause of Shigure and Yuki's personality of being lazy and keeping to themselves and away from other ppl. The comedy was pretty good for this anime and wasn't too far fetched. Anyways...the story was good for what it was and I wish they would add OVA or something for the endings cause it kinda seemed that something was missing. |
