Here in Malaysia we do listen to all kind of songs.. since we r multi racial county so basically we all kinda "international" when it come to music n entertainment.. we even listen n watch Venezuela drama.. So singers like puff daddy, usher, beyonce n etc, is not an "alien" at all to us..They r just like local singers which is, it is as same as the one at US,,

I live in The Netherlands and here we have a lot of american videoclips being broadcasted. Though not everything that's also popular in the USA is broadcasted here, since well, I heard Metro Station was a pretty popular band in the USA and they don't broadcast them here? We do have the Jonas Brothers and etc. though..
Anyway, I think the bands we get broadcasted here are pretty much the same artists Asia gets broadcasted..

What I wonder more is which european/asian artists are actually popular in the USA.. I heard Robbie Williams isn't popular at all in the USA which is weird, because he is famous elsewhere (or atleast in Europe)..

I live in the US but i love DBSK...I listen to them almost every single day...I also like other artist in Asia like Big Bang, Super Junior, YUI, Hikaru Utada, but since i live in the US i also know US artist and like tons of them too, but just not as much as i do to Asian artist. Since I'm able to watch them more on television and news and i try to spent some time on those artist too cuz they're pretty good too. But i don't listen to people like Hannah Motanna&Jonas Bro def not. and not Lil' Wayne nor Soulja boy, but i listen to almost all kinds of genre it's base on the artist and their songs like Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Akon, Alicia Keys, One Republic, and Chris Brown.

I've always thought about this but is "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne in any Asian language?
All I know is that it's in French and I always want to laugh whenever my friends play it on their iPod xD.

yeah, she also did one in mandarin and japanese. and she did hot in mandarin and japanese too, they're really cool.

Yeah, I think Asians look up to a lot of American music for inspiration.
I have no idea why though.
I like Asian music a lot more than American music.

me too lol i listen to both american and asian music well mostly korean music now and one time i heard Tae Yang a member of Big Bang singing Miss Independent by Ne-Yo so I think Asians and Asian countries listen to American music

Absolutely! I know, for a fact, that Ko Yu-Jin is a huge Bon Jovi, Nirvana, Guns N Roses, and Queen fan. In fact, he and Flower did quite a few covers of some of these artist's songs. Mostly good covers, in English!
