Yes I agree, it's very good...

I finally had the chance to watch the first 3 eps of it, and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised...it's quite different to what I had imagined, but much better at the same time
Initially when I read the synopsis, I thought it was just going to be another typical food drama, although I was still interested, but I wasn't particularly excited about it...but after watching just the 1st ep, I became intrigued and the more I watched on, the more fascinated I became with the whole concept...prior to watching this, I had no interest nor knowledge or experience in wine, but now, I think I'm starting to grow an interest in it! and I've learned quite a bit about it already!

And I have to say, Kame-chan has really proven once again his talent and versatility as an actor from the very first scene in ep 1 when Shizuku (Kame) visited his mom's grave, I knew instantly that this role is very different to all his previous roles, that confrontation with Shizuku and his estranged father was not the kind of scene I was expecting to see Kame in, especially when it was so early into the series, but he really gave a hell of a performance, just in that scene alone, and when he smashed that wine bottle, that sense of frustration and annoyance inside him, I thought he expressed it very convincingly...and he continued to impress throughout the rest of the first 3 eps...there's a sense of maturity in his acting, due to the difference in his char, I think Shizuku is a much more complexed and mature char compared to all of Kame's previous roles, but he's doing such a great job so far, I truly think he's growing as an actor and expanding his horizons even further, I'm proud to be a fan of his!
but 1 thing that's a bit upsetting is that it's quite obvious Kame-chan is working so hard in his career, in some scenes in the drama, you can actually see his eyebags, although I think they tried to cover them up with make up, but they're still quite obvious...sometimes it's quite upsetting to see him so tired

As for the story itself, I can definitely understand now why this drama is more suited for mature viewers, because the entire concept is mainly targeted to those specific age groups, and quite unsuitable for minors...I'm sure that's one reason for its low ratings...all of Kame-chan's previous dramas were more light-hearted and comedic, the sorts which would appeal to the general public...but this one is very different, it's more in-depth and serious with not much comedy (if not hardly any), and attracts mainly the mature audiences...a fact is that alot of Kame's fans are minors, so perhaps they're not encouraged to watch this...thus, drops in the ratings...and even if they had watched some of it, they probably just find it boring as they perhaps prefer to watch light-hearted comedies like Kame's previous dramas.
But for all those who ARE suited for this kind of drama, I sincerely encourage you to watch this, not just for Kame, but I find many other aspects of the drama so far fascinating...one of my fav aspects about this (apart from Kame of course) are all the descriptions about the various wines they had to collect, the way they described them through showing beautiful sceneries & people, is so detailed yet very vivid and intriguing...and it's also interesting how they could figure out which wines to collect just based on the descriptions alone...I never thought there would be such fascinating "stories" behind each kind of wine...I've always thought wines are just drinks, but I never had the slightest idea just how complexed they really are...or maybe I'm just being influenced too much by the drama already?

By the way, the actress who plays 'Shinohara' in this was also in Binbo Danshi with Oguri Shun & Miura Haruma, she played Miura's love interest...but I think she's more compatible with Kame-chan it would be nice if their chars end up together, I can see Shinohara is starting to develop some special feelings for Shizuku although I do find her a bit annoying at times...but at least she's more tolerable for me than that 'Maki' woman and 'Sara'.

I'm still waiting for ep 4 on mysoju, getting quite impatient now.
