To start of i would like to say that i love, love, animal crossing, so much i still have my gamecube copy and ds. now that thats out of the way, i was disappointed when i popped animal crossing into my wii... why?

Well to me it just seems like the ds version... but with a different title and wii motion, i know, i know, animal crossing: city folk is not a sequel, but wth why not add way more stuff. my problem? the box's subtitle is ''city folk'' so with that i expected to live in a city, but no same town as always, which is not bad, if your new to the series, so it turns out you can visit a city with redd's tent, kicks shoe shinery (which i think is pretty cool), shampoodles salon here you can get your hair done or get a makeover which is another cool feature that lets you put on one of your mii's face, gracie grace, lloids auction... i dont have to explain that, the marquee where you see dr. shrunk, lyle and hra. katrinas fortune and resetti surveillence center, well thats all cool and everything.

But why? i actually loved them dropping by randomly, id try to remember when to play so i could see them but now im like, o' i'll just go to the city... and then im thinking why the heck go? why didn't they just make you live there or include that into the town to make it look like a city... so in conclusion yippee for the same game... ok its not the the same game, yippe for the ENHANCED animal crossing: wild world.... yeah wild world the ds version enhaced thats all it is ill try to slave away 100 hours into... try... i hope i can, 'cause i lost interest when i saw the town, guess i shouldve read a review before buying it, too bad i was to excited to even read a preview.

I feel stupid... i made a huge fuss at the store over it, sad part is im 21 and male, imagine a 21 yr old male making a fuss about animal crossing, BUT, THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO NEVER PLAYED THE PREVIOUS GAME: BUY IT... what? its a great game for first timers but for hardcore fans? its a good game not great, good just good

Hey Hey! XD Well I just got the game on Saturday (Dec.29) and yeah, I've been playing it just right after I get home from school... and yeah, as you said tedyesca, it grows on you. Though yeah, I agree that it's exactly like the DS version, but in the end, ur like whatever... XD Other than that it's fun, and just got back in to it (since I stopped playing Wild World a couple years back).

P.S. Just joined this group a while ago, and yeah just click my username to find out my Friend Codes for Animal Crossing or any other games, and msg me about it!

it seems alot like the ds version to me to be honest -.- i mean in the city there isnt much to do just to go to the store an buy stuff, the animals walking around dont say much. i guess its better...but isnt what i expected. to be blunt i dont like it (sorry)

It's basically like the DS version except with a city and a few minor changes like new characters. It's not that big of a difference, I like it anyways though ^^;

I have played all of the Animal Crossing Games and I thought this one is the best. It crosses the DS version with the Gamecube version. And added some new things like the city, and some new animals in the town. I also thought that it was cool how in Nook's shop he sells paint for the roof of your house so that if you want to change it then you don't have to wait until you pay off your debt! Great Game!!!!

I'm such an Animal Crossing fan. But when I bought the Wii version... I couldn't handle it. Cuz, I already had the DS game... and I just couldn't take care of 2 cities... THAT'S JUST CRAZY... I mean, one city was hard enough. So we gave back the game... sad eh?
