For me a long distance romantic relationship is doomed. I don't have the patience to put all that work into it and I'm kind of jealous so it will always be in the back of my mind who is he with? Usually I'll just say lets be friends and if we ever get together in the future then hey it was meant to be if not well atleast were friends. My main problem is I have a short attention span in "romantic" relationships with guys that live in the same town with me let alone a long distance relationship. Whoever is in a long distance relationship good luck

i agree. i think a long distance relationship isn't good. what if he's cheating behind your back? How are you going to have time to talk to eachother and see each other. i think that's the problem with long distance relationships. my sister has a long distance relationship and it isn't going too well right now. Maybe it'll work for others but i don't think it will work for me.

it's dumb .... very dumb.... it won't work!!
C'mon, everyone know that ppl needs physical contact and if you have a long distance relationship you have to adjust your schedule to the one of the other person, you have to take in count the country, likes... all that stuff that you can't expect would be the same as yours. Kinda difficult to understand for a looot of persons!! ¬¬
Just my 2 cents... xD

I think it's pointless really. If you love each other so much, then why not one of you move so you can be together?

i have many doubts in long-distance relationship, but i believe true love can conquer all so i think it can work out, too.

i don't think it does. distance doesn't make the heart grow fonder.

I think it depends on the circumstance. If it's a case of perpetual distance, with no chance of ever coming together permanantly, then the relationship is most likely doomed. If it's just a temporary distance, and you know that eventually (even if you don't have a set date) you will be able to live close together, then the odds of success are significantly higher.

It really depends, if I really want to spend my future with my bf, and he has no choice have to go overseas for further studies, long distance r/s still can work when both put in efforts to maintain the sparks.
