hmm as humans we have the instinct and the need to protect ourselves because athough we don't admit it we oursleves are selfish creatures and likewise we tend to put ourselvse first...and blaming others for our mistakes and looking for an excuse for our own failure is part of our nature instead of blaming we dont look for the answer, but instead we sit there pointing the fingers..

a comparison why we blame others.

put a beaker under a tap of running water... some time later its gonna fill up.. to make sure it doesnt overflow.. u have to pour the water in the beaker somewhere right.. so u have another container and pour the water in the beaker into that container..we blame others so that the so-called actions we had done doesnt imply you only... ~ Misery loves company..

To make it simpler. we blame others because humans are such primitive people (we can only share our feelings through words.) and blaming people takes away a greater percentage of the feeling you get when u do the wrong actions. this is because humans are the only intelligent (note that i mean intelligent as - using a greater part of the brain for thinking and not instinct) beings on Earth.(maybe not.. but on Monday, 1st December 2008 1:31 PM it was) and we do wrong things while using our brain even if we didnt know it was wrong. (note that I know that other animals use their brain while doing things but u know what i mean..)

Well. that proves that most (yes not all.. maybe) people are just bitches who don't want to take the blame fully due to - they are proud, scared they will lose money, possessions etc. and many more.

and when u point fingers.. .note that 3 fingers point back at you..(yeah.. if you point the way i do, with my index finger, the thumb points downward) so please remember this.. blaming others is the same as saying that its mostly your fault.

Honestly, i don't really mind taking the blame for someone else if they really need a way out of a difficult situation or there just feeling frustrated over something that's happened. As for blaming other for things such as my own problems, i don't because it doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I'm just different than everyone else?

Wrong section. It's probably been reported a dozen times already, so I'm not going to bother.

as an escape goat... a reason to cover thyself

Ummm..... No offence meant, but I believe the word you're looking for is "scapegoat". ^_^;; Sorry, I'm a bookworm, so correcting people is second nature. I do it to my friends all the time on accident.

And yeah, human nature is that of self adoration and preservation, except for a few odd cases, so usually blaming someone else is a knee-jerk reaction. If a human believes themself to be the ones at fault, they almost always automatically shift the blame to someone else, whether they do it outloud or just in their heads. For example, if a gambler lost all his money and couldn't pay the bills, he might either blame his oponent or he'll blame the city or state or whoever else for making the bills too high, because if he blamed himself his mind wouldn't be able to handle the strain. Even when his consious has already accepted that he is at fault, his subconcious has already decided that it's not his fault, so even if he thinks he's accepted the truth, he hasn't. The human mind is indeed a mysterious thing.
