Which do you prefer..(and why?)

This thread is made of fail as there is no car in the market that uses either petrol or diesel.

Cars use petrol (gasoline). Petrol is short for Petroleum which is gasoline. As for Diesel, cars like the BMW 335d, VW Jetta TDI, etc. How could you not know that some cars use diesel? And how could not know that Petrol (Petroleum) is gasoline?

I will correct you by sentence.

Cars with an engine made for diesel use diesel fuel and cars that are make for petrol use petrol. No shit why do you think that I never said gas, petrol and/or diesel at all in my post. I know what a diesel car sounds like with out reading the emblems. Diesel needs a far higher compression ratio than a gas engine can generate to ignite the fuel so a diesel engine with gas would have detonation and a gas engine would most likely seize over time with all the accumulated deposits in the engine or not start with clogged fuel injectors. Same as sentence 2 no shit.

Diesel fuel will not even run in a conventional petroleum car at all. . You do know that diesel fuel is pretty much home heating oil right? Why else do you think diesels can run on straight vegi oil.

Wow...what comments both of you have. Veyron1001 doesn't seem to know what he/she just typed before cause he/she just corrected him/her self and Lasthope05 doesn't really understand what I meant. What I meant is THERE ARE diesel cars on the market today like BMW 335d. Veyron1001 typed that "there is no car in the market that uses either petrol or diesel." Unless you mean that there is "no car that uses both diesel and petrol", of course no. I have never said that the cars mentioned uses petrol and diesel. I've only mentioned the diesel cars. All other cars use petrol (petroleum). Both of you need to read my comment again and think than actually type your comment up thinking your a Chemist or a certified technician. Veyron1001 and Lasthope05 just like to bash people on the internet. Again, READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU COMMENT. Seems some people can't read, even from their own comment.

Umm... I fully understand what I typed and I was agreeing with you. Maybe you should just go back and read my post. I quoted you because you were responding to veryon, Im saying veyron doesnt know as much as about cars as he thinks he does and im pretty much agreeing with you. Diesels cars have been around longer than you were born and im pretty sure most of the people already know about the old diesel benz and VWs.

Hypocrites.. They seem to like to tell other people to go back and read when they cant go back and fully understand their own situation.

my car uses petrol but i believe diesel is more fuel efficient, besides you dont need a spark, it combusts via compression or glow plugs in some trucks.

FYI, I didnt vote. I have no preference, i use what is necessary for the car. That being said, i agree with this thread being pointless and takatoshibc. LOL VEYRON! hell ya both diesel and petrol vehicles are still in production.
