Personally I will get married when I find a woman whom I feel that I can spend the rest of my life with and who feels the same way about me. In a sense, when I find my soul mate. When that will be, I have no clue...

I don't care about the damn law. But I'll only get married when I know that I can support my family and they will live in a comfortable home. I mean, I have to get a good life myself before promising my future wife a good life like blabling about "Dear, if you marry me, you will never work and you will live in the biggest mansion you could possible imagine... Bullcrap... Those nonsense will make you two work as a burger flipper.

doesn't matter.. you really can't put a limit or time on when your going to love someone.. but i guess if you're like maybe below 18.. it might be too soon to get married.. lol.. u can be in love and marry later but.. maybe its too early..

I'm an office aid for the attendance office at my high school. I'm amazed at how many students come in and talk to the ladies and just mention off hand that they're married. =/ Especially after Valentines day, there were like 3 girls who came in with excuses from school because they were getting married. It seems (Where I'm at anyway) that more and more people are getting married really early. Then there are the people, like some people I've heard of here, that have been together it seems like forever, who still aren't ready for marrage. For the most part, it's varied here as well. I'll get married when I feel it's time and I'll be able to support myself and family. =3 So whenever that will be... =p

from november - february I saw over five couples divorce. I can tell you from personal experience, marriage is not fun and it isn't always happy. However I think when you see movie stars and famous people having such lavish and amazing weddings it makes marriage seem kinda like a fairy tale.

A wise friend of mine told me that if when you get married and you are delusioned by the theory that every day of married life should be like standing on the peak of a mountain. You will soon realize that the top of the mountain is uninhabitable, cold and has very little growth. For it is in the valley, where it's thick and dense and hard to navigate at times that you find the most growth and scenery:)

i think when a person has finish college and has a stable income to live off of, then i would say that it's the right time to get married. or if the person hasn't gone to college, when he or she has the right income to live off of, then he or she should get married at that time.

In the US, marriage laws (including the minimum age requirement) differ from state to state. Generally it's 16, but in some southern states, it's as low as 14.

Here in canada, we get married straight out of high school at 18 or normally around 21-24. If you're not married by the time you're 30 you're considered an old maid.

However my sister just got back from travelling all over asia and said in most places it's different. She visited Hong Kong, China and Thailand mostly but according to her, people study their tails off and get a career before getting married. Is that true? How do you feel?

18 is the legal age to get married (in my country); and i concur that MOST Asian prioritize career than love life.... and include me in the list. :P

EDIT: oh my...changed ies to ize. ='(
