Really sad, suicide is becoming a huge problem now a days...

It seems that South Korea is now topping the suicide list of the OECD countries and even went past Japan

"The high suicide rate in South Korea seems to reflect a surge in social conflicts, including feuds between the sexes, economic hardship and domestic violence," an NSO official said.

The statistics showed suicide as the No. 4 cause of death in South Korea. Of 246,000 deaths last year, 12,047 cases were reported as suicides. The death rate translates into an average of 33 people a day taking their lives.

OECD - Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, 30 countries that accept the principles of represent ative democracy and free-market economy.

It's the new "in" thing. Like rehab was last few years. Like the big hair thing in the 70's and 80's. Just a trend. Will probably last a few years and go on to the next thing.

Omg...

Something is seriously up with Korea -- suicides after suicides...Why isn't Korea reacting?
