Hello Mr. Yoshiura,

I'd like to first express my gratitude to you and your staff for visualizing and creating Time of Eve. Your work is seen worldwide and I hope that it becomes more and more well known, particularly to those who have an interest in androids and the like.

What I find fascinating about Time of Eve, perhaps because I'm a Computer Science major, is trying to figure what motivates the androids to act the way that they do. I'm used to writing code, compiling, executing the program, and then seeing the results that the computer gives me. Yet, it seems to me that these androids (particularly Rina and Sammy) are acting in a manner to fulfill their desires, not what they were programmed to do.

My question has to deal with the limits of the android's actions. Are they able to do anything as long as it does not go against the Three Laws of Robotics, or do all of their actions have to be linked always to the Three Laws? Both Rina and Koji seemed to be rationalizing their actions by saying it was all to "help their master", which is what caused me to question the inherent restrictions they must deal with since they're androids.

Thank you for all your work on Time of Eve, Mr. Yoshiura. I find that this anime is very unique in that although it depicts humans in a futuristic society complete with androids, it explores the confines of a human heart and the relationships between people without becoming too unrealistic. My questions are these:

1) What, if any, were your inspirations for this anime?

2) What is your reaction to comparisons to other robot/android animes?

3) I noticed that the animation style for this anime is very detailed and bold. Is it because of this that the episodes are released so far between?

4) If this series becomes popular enough will you extend it to a full season with longer episodes, or will it remain an arty passion project?

Thank you for all your hard work, and I look forward to any future projects of yours!

I loved the idea of androids being able to show their own personalities in the cafe, and I'm sure somehow that mystery will be revealed in future episodes. However, I was wondering, can they drink or eat? The cafe serves coffee a certain way, as Sammy manages to make it at home, but can they actually taste it?

Just curious. Thank you for answering our questions!

From the start i felt something peculiar about your work of arts (yes, im talking about your works maestro :D) Mr. director, besides its animation style, but I can't really tell what it was.

When did you become interested in humans and machines' coexistence?

What influences you to create those ANIMES (your past works too)? Environments? Society? Ideas? Experiences?

I BELIEVE you will continue making animes that will stir our thoughts and ideas, after all, it is ART.

Dear Mr. Yoshiura,

First off i would like to congratulate you on the Time of Eve series. It has been an interesting concept that you have developed. Well most of the questions i wanted to ask have already been asked so no point being repetitive. The animation is a one off animation which suits with this anime series very well. I hope to see the whole series of Time Of Eve and also is there any other anime on teh way that you have been considering?

Thanks again for this "different" type of anime and different anime is hard to come by nowadays. Most are the same or repetive or that could just be me lol.

To Mr. Yoshiura and everyone at the studio,

I would like to thank all of you for making such an amazing series. THANK YOU!!!

As everyone else who has posted in the forum has already said (and I will say also), "Time of Eve" is a thought-provoking and beautiful anime. My questions are 1) Will you be coming to an anime convention anytime soon? and 2) Do you have any ideas for future projects?

Thank you~

No questions from me.
Just a general message of support for Directions for posting their videos on Crunchyroll and for providing such an interesting and fascinating storyline and world view with Time of Eve. I would also like to thank everyone who came up with the story and worked on the artwork and did the animations and the voice actors for providing such great entertainment. I am hooked on Time of Eve and am eagerly awaiting the next installment in 2009.
Thank you all!

Question!
When you were begining Time of Eve did you decide to base any of the characters off of people you know in real life, such as looks or personalities?.

Also, do you relate to any of the characters yourself? If so which character/s?
