I have never watched a drama before, and probably shouldn't because its a "drama" meant for mostly girls. However, I am open to suggestions, preferrable from straight guys who want to recommend me a drama to watch that you would think a guy would like. I am open to any suggestions.

I'm Straight.
My First Drama was "Prince Who Turned Into A Frog"
After watching it I left the Ghetto-ness inside me to become a good boy :P
and I just suddenly got addicted to Drama Series o.o
My Favorite Dramas, from a "Used-To-Be-Ghetto" Guy's Point Of View, are "Brown Sugar Macchiato, Bull Fighting, & Miss No Good"

Miss No Good is probably the Best out of them 3 because, its Funny and Romantic, then there are some sad parts too ^^

P.S. I Never Cried Watching A Movie Before, Well Since I Know It's All Acting

What language do you like? I mean, chinese/mandarin, japanese, korean or pilipino/tagalog? If you want a guy-thing drama, i suggest some detective stories like; Kindaichi shonen jikenbo, Detective Q Academy or Tantei Gakuen Q. If you want some actions and school drama, try Gokusen. If you want korean, try watching some period/historical dramas like The Legend. I suggest you try also Bloody Monday, it is abt a genius hacker fighting againts terrorists.

Those were the titles that came to my mind, and all of them are japanese dramas. I can only suggest j-dramas 'coz those were the only dramas i know w/c also caters to guys. Chinese dramas are more of a love story. Korean dramas sometimes has action dramas but most of their dramas are love story and comedy. Same with pPilipino/tagalog dramas.

Uh I'm straight but watching dramas really doesn't matter wither your gay or straight I think. If you want to watch some dramas that are less romance themed and cater more to the comedy you should check out Coffee Prince, Nobuta wo Produce, and Densha Otoko. I personally think Densha was the funniest, but Nobuta wo Produce had the least romance out of all 3.

i'm straight, in our house, my mom and sisters watch alot, i just watch some parts while eating dinner, i just got hooked in the story korean telenovela memories from Bali, Green Rose before. i just saw some parts of episodes at first then as the story moves i become interested in what will happen next. here in the philippines, most filipino movies, the plot or ending are quite predictable. but then i become interested because of reasons beyond what you can predict. its exciting isn't it? and i become more passionate to women, know know how to treat them well, learning how to take actions to there fillings and know how to anticipate on things beyond and predicaments. of course dramas are more emotional so they are showing there fillings obviously. so just enjoy watching and learn the other possible side of life:) yeh im watching East of eden now, ohhh got a crush on soup ladle. got to watch it got to watch it!!!!!!!

MAOU.
which is what i'm currently watching right now.
and i don't think it constitutes as a "girly-drama" or what have you.

oh and btw.
watching romance dramas doesn't make you gay.
it...gives you superpowers.

now talk about manly manliness!

I would not recommend Miss No Good. Main character will annoy you so much.

I definitely think:

My Boss, My Hero
Densha Otoko
Kimi wa Petto
1 Litre of Tears (this drama will make anyone cry)

My brother was in LOVE with Fantasy Couple, and he doesn't like dramas in general...
