does it matter to you whether or not someone did plastic surgery? seriously, if your brother or sister or mom or dad or even your best friend had plastic surgery, would you hate them? not even care?

in mai opinion, if a person wants to get plastic surgery, then let him or her. Even though plastic surgery is labeled as superficial, the person who went through plastic surgery may feel more confident and happy.

kind of random connection but... i think at least 85% of people who voted no on prop 8 would believe that whether or not someone got plastic would not matter. becuz no on prop 8 and not minding plastic surgery would have the same reasoning. "as long as he/she does not bother me, then let them be."

don't hate me for anything i wrote. just reply in a friendly way. ^^;;

it depends on the type of sugery.

If its somthing like a nose job / tummy tuck / boob lift etc then i dont see a problem with it .

On the other hand people that get silicone pecs / calfs / ass cheek implants make me laugh.
There asses are to lazy to get out and hit the gym a few times a week so they are gonna go blow $$$ so they can just look a little buff. they = instant failures and should just off themselves.

If someone got into a horrible crash or has down syndrome then I approve of such surgery.

People can do what they want, but it's sad to see that people are not happy with just the way they are and feel the need to change something about themself and can't love themself for just they way they are.

Depends on the situation. If they had an accident, and needed to the surgery to reconfigure their face so it's recognizable, then yeah it does matter. But if it's just for a simple nose job, boob job, etc, I find it quite useless.

Hmm.. the way I see it, plastic surgery is just another type of body modification. People should strive to be happy and if they feel they would be happier with different coloured hair or different facial features then let them.
People get tattoos and piercings and it's the same thing. Body modification.
I want to get some tattoos and piercings and I'd like to be paler. Does that make me a horrible person? Why should it matter if people want to get chest surgery or a boob job or go get a fake tan? We are each entitled to do what we want with our bodies.
If we were to regulate that then it's not free will.

"Which part of me that people say looks more like a proper guy?"

People had always say that I looked like a masculine before, so I don't think there's a certain part of me that looks boyish.
But if you really insist, maybe that I've become cuter.

The problem is not with plastic surgery itself, it's that some people tend to abuse it. A surgery to get bigger boobs. Ok, you'll get an ego boost, more guys will hit on you and buy you drinks, you'll look pretty,ok, whatever. TEN surgeries to get bigger boobs....I'm sorry but at that point you have a psychological problem IMHO

if i knew someone who had undergone plastic surgery for beauty purposes, i think i would find him/her rather contemptible. to actually resort to plastic surgery, one must be really desperate. haha. and what could be more pathetic than that? (no offense *cough *cough)...

yeah that's what i think. i mean, if you don't look that good, accept reality and move on. it's not like the only thing that matters is the physical thing. i have girl friends who don't look that good, but they know how to handle themselves well and with that, they attract a lot of guys. and the way they handle themselves kinda makes them look good, too, somehow.

i think the only reason why people want to beautify themselves is because they want to be noticed by the opposite sex. well, wouldn't it nice to know that a person likes you just as you are and not just because of how you look? you don't have to try so hard because you're certain that the person can accept your physical inadequacies and will still love you nevertheless.
