As it was said before, a post count, and signatures. While those aren't necessary, they do add some atmosphere. They also let the users feel a little special. I know that sounds a little kid like, but to know that I'm active a certain amount on a site, or being able to have some funny little quote makes me happy. >.< Anyway, this site has come along a long way since I first "stumbled upon" it. Nods.

As was already said multiple times, uploading your own videos woulden't work. It would make the site too easy to hack. And hentai woulden't work either considering the age of some users.

Fuzz is right there are to many kids here for that. I dont think uploading your own vids is a bad thing, sites like Spiked humor has been doing it forever with no problems. But I think all the vids should have to be approved by Shinji or a moderator before it's allowed to be posted so we don't end up with a site full of porn.

1. hentai. bleh. i find it rediculous.
2. the sites that allow you to upload videos, like youtube and such, are usually quite a bit larger, have massive bandwidth, and a HUGE server network. they also have nearly unlimited space. that wouldnt work here, unless people paid shinji a lot in donations.
3. while adding our own videos would be nice, it would bog the site down really badly, too, as people would post videos in bad formats, of crappy things, or that nobody wanted to see.

and drazi, can i make a suggestion? when you are trying to convince someone to take an idea of yours and put it into action, speak like you arent retarded. "ryt" "dis" "hav" "evrything". speak as if you graduated middleschool

The first rule about becoming a Mod should be 'NOT' to ask to become one. I've seen far too many forums go to hell when people have asked to be a Mod, got what they wanted and then end up going on a huge power trip at some point.

Application process is probably the best way as this forum is too young to go by the 'quality of a users posts' route.

A user rating system might be a good idea if possible to add for each show/episode. Also a 'viewed by xxxx users' to also see how popular a particular episode is.

I like Parasitius's idea on makeing a list under the vids to show who all has watched it. That would be cool.

3. Thats why I said vids would have to be approved my mods. That way they all would be in the correct format and if it's something stupid it will never make it on the site.
Oh and may I suggest that after I make a post I'm not sent to the beginning of the thread. Just a little annoying.

Also sites like Youitube have a lot of people working for it approving/denying videos, so unless this site becomes something huge I doubt it would ever happen.

And I'm going to assume that Drazi's first language isn't english.

Alphabet linking would be nice to make finding shows a little quicker. Just went looking for Naruto and realised I didn't have a clue what page it was on. Would've found it quicker if I could just click on the letter N.

Killar's right, being returned to the first page after a post is starting to get mildly annoying.

I like the idea of alphabetical listing, and/or a search feature so you can type in "Naruto" and be brought directly to Naruto.

There's a search feature in the top right of the webby just under your username. Brought up all the Naruto stuff for me but it wasn't in any particular order which would also be a nice thing to be able to do. Sort stuff in alphabetical, episode, date posted, file size etc...

Go to last unread post is another thing I'd like to see. Nothing worse then being away for a couple of days and returning and then having to hunt through a thread trying to find the last post you read so you can then catch up on what's been posted since.

It does kind of blend in sitting up there doing its own thing. It needs to be brought down a bit or made to stand out a bit more.

But, a possible manual solution for what you're pointing out as far as the searches flaw is to

1. Search Naruto or whatever
2. click the first episode listed
3. instead of letting the episode load just click where it says "Naruto" above the playing screen to bring you straight to the page that includes all the episodes in order.

That'll work until something is hopefully sorted.
