Likewise.
Was looking through the anime section and got to wondering which ones had finished and which were still ongoing. Maybe a simple heading that says 'Show run :- total xx episodes' if the show is completed or in the case of something like Naruto it would say 'Show run :- Ongoing'.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Or maybe even a tag to show completed runs.

Some series haven't been fully uploaded, so maybe you should tag those and some members can help contribute uploading the series. Ex. Ghost in the Shell 2nd Gig.
To be honest, I really want to finish that series for myself =D. But I think the fan contribution thing should be moderated to certain series that need to be completed, not just anyone can upload anything.

I think there should be a top ten list of the "Most watched" vids on the welcome screen. I don't know if that has already been suggested but it would be cool.

I think everyones going to agree with me when I suggest a "Anime Request" thread. That way we could ask politely "Can you put more of ____ up?" or "Do you have/have you heard of ____ and can you put it up?"

Well I see what you mean, but of course it could grow. Right now, I think the forums are pretty active for site in its "early stages" and I check back for posts every so often. I don't see a loss if we get one this early on since its instant communication and would probably help suggest some ideas faster for the site to grow.

Agree'd. I guess the real question is if it costs money or uses up bandwith, and something only Shinji can really decide if its worthwhile, no matter what the vote.

Do not forget the fact the the threads in the forum are limited. Since they are limited we only have so much to post. I think an IRC channel were to open people attend to it because it is more of an "open area". I agree with bokchoi I too don't see a loss getting it early for suggestion.
