Group - Invite All Buddies Function

You guys removed the function that we could invite users who are not our buddies in groups, you guys should at least make a function where we can invite all our buddies to our groups because honestly, the max we can invite is 100 and then type some names, how are we suppose to type all our buddies names to a group when people have over 1000 buddies?

Image Background is Light Grey

When we upload a picture here that has no background for some reason now there's a grey background on all images which are suppose to have no backgrounds at all.

Playlist.com

Playlist.com has recently blocked music for a few countries so a lot of users can't listen to music on their profiles or groups. Can you add another music sharing site that can emb music to CR.

^To add on about the playlist part, there was a problem last night where the system required an updated adobe flash player to show the playlist...and not only that some of the songs stops playing in the middle.

Playlist needs fix tbh.

I accidentally sent this suggestion as an email under the "Contact Us" section of the site, & then noticed there was a thread for suggestions (silly me ) so I guess I'll re-post it here since this looks like the obvious/appropriate place for it.

I propose placing announcements for new catalog titles acquired on a part of the site other than "Site News" so you can control such announcements so they only go out to members in the regions that are actually able to view the series. Perhaps you can add a new button at the very top right between the search box and the member's username. This is the same spot where alerts for new mail and awards for new achievements go (those little square orange buttons). Maybe you guys can add a new button that says "New series added" and only send out the announcement to members that live in the regions that are able to see them.

While a savvy web surfer will still be able to find out a series is available on this site but not in their region (just by looking in something like the forums, for instance), at least it won't be "shoved in their face" per se, as it currently is, and is like "We've just added a new series, but it's not available in YOUR region....sorry, but just letting you know." Stuff like that can be real frustrating to paying members in those other regions who can't see them.

I admit I'm not an expert on web page design and don't know the technical aspects of how easy this would be, and I don't know if you've already got plans in the works to address this issue, but I just thought I'd throw this out there & see if this helps cut down on the disgruntled complaints from other members not able to see some shows.

Whatever you do, thank you for all that you DO manage to do for us fans and managing to get the shows that you do.

I would like to see a plugin for XBMC similar to the one on Boxee or even Roku.

Also... an update to the first post maybe? I noticed it hadn't been edited since 2008?

my recomendation is to stop getting dubbed series, they are very hard for the ones who dont perfectly talk english like me. subtitles are very well and easy. telling this as a suggestion since you are a "World wide anime" page. and in many latin or europe nations, people doesnt perfectly speak english. so plz stop wasting ur time on dubbed series :D, or u could have 2 options a dubbed one and a subbed one

In the few cases where CR has only a dub (e.g. Kurokami, the original Mobile Suit Gundam), it is because that was all they could get.

Regarding m.crunchyroll.com, since I am worried that Crunchyroll is never going to submit an app to the B&N Nook Color/Tablet app store (despite 7% media tablet market share and growing) ...

(1) I would like to see the m.mobile site get a Queue option on the main bar.

It doesn't have to have all the Queue features. All it needs is the Episode row that would show up for that episode in the Series page. If you click on the episode row, you not only have the episode available to play, but also the nearby episodes. Its fine to leave the tools to rearrange the Queue for the main PC page.

(2) I would like all the videos in the m.mobile.com launch full screen mode if available. On a 3", 5" or 7" page, that's what you want. The only reason to not do it is if it is available on that system.

If you wanted to have a video window open, be adding comments to the side, setting ratings, having a chat open in another window ... you'd be watching on a PC!

(3) How to pay for this? I'm OK with the main front page sponsor for the day also getting a banner add at the top of m.crunchyroll.com and a link through if you hit the banner add. The selection bar is wide enough to avoid a banner ad on top, and when you are sliding down, you are flicking from the bottom of the screen up, so you won't hit the banner ad by accident. A banner image sized to be full size across the Portrait display on a 5" screen would be about the right size ~ it could downscale a bit for a smaller screen and upscale a bit for a 7" tablet, and still be good.

One thing I've been looking for is an anime rating/suggesting system similar to the old Netflix system and the really old firefly.com system (most people here won't remember it). I don't care for Netflix current way of doing it, where we list preferred genres and such, since the old system that just clumped all the movies together caused me to discover some things I wouldn't have, like Cool Hand Luke, Casablanca, and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. But a system that mines user ratings, looks for groupings of similar ratings, and attempts to predict what a given user would rate highly, would be very, very cool.

This is rather time-sensitive, so I hope someone sees this soon. You should put a notice on the front page that all views of Naruto Shippuden and Bleach this weekend support Japan earthquake/tsunami relief! It was blurbed in a news article a couple days ago, but you should make it very prominent! I have been spamming it to my Facebook friends.

I do not like Naruto much, but I am drudging through Naruto Shippuden from episode 1 as long as I can stand it for the cause! =D

We're going to put up a note about it. :)
Thanks for the great suggestion!

Also, thanks to everyone for your great requests. Keep 'em coming!
I'll try to do an update to the initial post as well (it's been a hectic week!)

After reading this http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/feature/2012-03-09 I am kinda suprised that crunchy roll doesn't have donation buttons on each episode's page or hasn't join an affiate program http://www.rightstuf.com/rssite/main/affiliateProgram/ where they tell you can buy dvds from here these seems like simple ideas. Also I was wondering why you people don't allow people to create theit own subtitles aka legal fansubbers similar to jmmanga guild.

As I recall, CR was planning on having this feature when they first went legit, but the content providers basically gave it a thumbs down.

It could have been concern over some subs being spiced with profanities that weren't really there, or it could have been as simple as the licensor not wanting to yield any control over their content. After all, when you see what seems to be a silly English title for a series, more often it isn't that the licensee chose that title, but rather that was the one the licensor either insisted on, or the only one of several offered they would agree to.

I suggest cutting down on the ads, back to the way it was before. 9-12 ads pr. 20 min video is just madness. Not to mention that its just the same advert over and over again.

I just had the thought, it would be cool to have a view counter on videos... and I see it's already on the list. Get that one implemented, should be easy!

ALSO
I always thought it would be nice to have a "Viewer Count" as in how many people are currently watching, along with a chat on the page. It would be pretty cool for simulcasts where lots of people could watch and talk about the episode. of course, there's no guarantee that people would be seeing it at the same time, so I guess there's a worry about spoilers in chat, with that...
