I love anime and have been watching fansubs for a very long time. Certain things would take this site to a place where I don't really miss the days when I was out there searching for subs of new episodes every week.

1. Inverted (proper) Names Mode

Most shows I watched had the names show in the subtitles as they were said. As someone who can speak Japanese, it drives me nuts to hear them say "Uzumaki Naruto" and have the subs say "Naruto Uzumaki". Please make this something I can change in my preferences! I would love you forever.

2. Adult Content Mode

There once was a time when there was adult language in subs. Since I know how the language works, I know that translation has less to do with what is said than how it is said. I love the work you guys do, but if there was a way to make do dual translation on certain scenes and have an adult mode which swaps out the tame verbiage for some that is a little more gritty, you might make more people willing to pay that premium fee.

3. Mark Shows as Watched w/o Having Watched On CR

This really isn't that important, but it would make sense if you read the next request.

4. Show Suggestions

You know what I watch, what I have finished (and perhaps the shows I have watched before CR). Why don't you suggest titles that I might like? I don't even know where to start when looking into the live action shows. Tell me what I should try, and I will (and this might help prevent subscription cancelation as well).

A tab for movies. Mixing them in with dramas makes them hard to find.

I've seen a couple of people suggest this but just to make sure I'll suggest it again. Crunchyroll video needs buffering support. the least you can do to improve the videos is to add a loading bar to show us how far the video has loaded on the website -_-

The only chat that is still around is the live chat that accompanies The Live Show.

Video related: Add markers for intro/outro and have them be skipable(i know you can skip through the timeline but the delayed loading makes this a pain). When watching a series I really don't wish to watch through the intro 100 times and I can't just skip forward because in many animes the intro doesn't even start for a few minutes. I have seen this done in VLC and was very nice being able to click a marker and skip right to the anime and not have to watch the opening over and over and over and over and over and over... you see where i am going with this? should be very easy to implement and only takes a few seconds of effort per episode. I have been a long time loyal fan of crunchyroll but would like to see some more improvements. The other suggestion would be to fix the load time on an anime when you skip in the timeline, I have 30Mb/s internet so it's nothing on my end and it becomes very annoying when you are trying to find a certain spot and have to wait 10+ seconds everytime you skip in the timeline.

How about full screen resolution setting, so when you switch to fullscreen mode it automatically switches the stream resolution to this setting otherwise it uses the default video resolution setting.

Markers in the video to show where the opening and credits start. highly useful when you are episode 100 into a series, and just want to cut the intro.

Are you referring to 4K Television? 4D TVs are still several decades away and 4D viewing is only available at select theaters. Disney pioneered the "4D" type experience with their interactive theaters. (The ones that blow air, or move the seats, or create smells, ect...) and that kind of in home experience is at least 20-30 years away at the earliest.

However, 4K TVs should start becoming affordable by the next decade and 4K just means that the resolution is being increased to 4096 x 3072. There have already been 8K resolution prototype TVs shown off as well. The PS4 and Xbox 720 are rumored to support 4K resolutions for video playback.
