Erm no, that's not what I meant.

I mean is it being kept up to date with any suggestions being posted now?

Is there any chance of the ios app being updated with native support for the AppleTV so that videos use the whole screen? I would be infinitely grateful !

Windows 8 app? I'm a Mac user but I just upgraded my Windows 7/Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro to Windows 8 and ^^ Only thing I'm missing is a native Crunchyroll application ~.~ There's a Netflix app on the store, yeah, but all they have for streaming is dubs And I'm not using Hulu Are you guys thinking about an app for Windows 8 in the future Crunchy? It'd be aimed towards tablet (computer) users too so yeah, it'd be nice. I know you guys don't have unlimited devs but you know, just a thought. Gotta have Crunchy on all my devices >:O

Thanks guys!

I don't know how you guys advertise, most likely just through the internet. I have ads blocked by default just because of porn and too any sites are cluttered with ads. So I found out Crunchyroll existed through, of all places, Horrible subs and one of their links back to your forums about them. My suggestion would be to use a broader scope of advertising media other than just the internet for people like me. It's quite possible I would have been a member long before now but better late than never. I didn't see advertising in your list so I am making that suggestion.

I'd like to see how far the show is buffered in the time line for a show that's currently playing instead of it being a solid yellow color. If a show is buffering slower than it's playing then it can at least be paused to get ahead instead of starting to stutter to let you know it's caught up.

As far as I know, the most of an episode that you can buffer is about 1 minute. This is primarily because allowing you to buffer the whole video is akin to allowing you to download the video in terms of licensing, and streaming is cheaper than downloading.

On an unrelated note:

As suggested by JJtoob here, an additional user option to set the video auto play option to false would be quite handy. This should be pretty easy to do as there is already a variable for it in place.

Why not? I don't see a point if its not being updated. It would be easier for us to see the changes in the site. I had already suggest for the Turn on/off the lights and I still haven't seen any progress made yet. Some of the Crunchyroll members as well as me also suggested for the Auto Full Screen feature. A lot of CR users has been asking for this feature if you can check in the help section.

I would like to add if there's a way we could add a calendar in the crunchyroll profile it would be perfect! I know this isn't facebook but it could be handy too.

I see Crunchyroll still hasn't made a history so we can see what posts we made. Now I can't even find my older posts...

What I'd like, more than anything else at the moment, is a way to selectively clear the queue for any show.

A lot of times, I skip ending credits or "Next Episode!" previews to move to the next video, but if I ever go back to rewatch a series, the queue often skips directly to the last 30 seconds of an episode, thinking that it's ever so vital for me to catch the name of that one Seiyuu.

You could simply make it so that when watching from the queue, it assumes that you want to start from the beginning of the next episode, but that might be too blunt a solution (what happens if you're just skipping backwards to check a plot detail?).

So what I would like is, on a show's info page, a single button that says "Clear Queue". Right now, the only way I get this functionality is by clearing my viewing history, which also feels like too blunt a solution (not to mention that this affects EVERY series, not just one).

+1 for some kind of post history, preferably with a notice if there have been posts since yours. coming from other forums this is pretty much the only feature i miss & it's a really important one for trying to carry a discussion

a way for someone to make ties between the library entries so that you could indicate their order in the series via links. eg:

-- if you were at the library entry for A Certain Magical Index (aka: To Aru Majutsu no Index) you would see in the area where... maybe under Episode count is :

Side Story series: A Certain Scientific Railgun
Sequel: A Certain Magical Index 2

-- when you were looking at A Certain Scientific Railgun it would maybe say:

Parental Series: A Certain Magical Index

-- when you were looking at A Certain Magical Index 2 it would maybe say:

Prequel: A Certain Magical Index

that way people could understand order in which they should be watching them and also relationships to other related stories. also they wouldn't have to do several searches since they could just follow the links.

Basically just wondering why there isn't like an annual community choice poll on the main page for which anime's they'd like to see on the site, I'm sure most people have Steam, and I'm sure a lot of them have see the community choice sales they have, couldn't CR do something similar? Go to the licensing companies and tell them every 3 months (or whenever) you's will be holding a poll on the homepage and they should put any anime's they have free forward open for votes.

The reason this works on Steam isn't because they're almighty powerful, it's because they can afford to do it cheaper that way, if a company knows for a fact their product is going to sell (or in this case be viewed a lot) it's better than just giving it to a company and hoping they put the name out there.

If a companies product wins they know for a fact the community of a site wants it and will watch, it doesn't always have to be stellar shows every time, but hey it's better than nothing.

Just a suggestion.

PS - I mistakenly posted this as a thread, must have skipped over this sticky and didn't realise, sorry about that!
