I think it would be helpful if the Daily Deals Discussion thread (http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-786359/daily-deals-discussion) were "stickied" to be more useful if it really is currently the place to go to comment on the daily deal, since the store pages and DOTD don't currently have that functionality. Right now it doesn't get a lot of activity, but I think if it were easier to find it might be more active, and thus more useful.

But I don't know what criteria are used when deciding if a topic gets to have the sticky status or not, so don't know if there's a reason this isn't there. Has this been considered and rejected for the daily deals discussion, or is it a case of if enough people ask "pretty please" might it happen?

Could you please add a login form on the actual video as well as the 'Start Your Free Trial'. Lastpass does not play friendly with that form and auto tries to log me in using that form. Additionally, when I do go to login after LastPass fails, it takes me back to the main page. If not that, can you at least extend the cookie age on each visit?

Lol! With our guest books, instead of running across the screen, it just gets cut off... I remember first noticing that when I tried to post a long URL into someone's guest book.

I see there is an option to auto play in a certain quality, which is great and exactly what I wanted, but the thing is that it doesn't work. I use three browsers. Firefox, Opera, and Chrome and it always auto play in 1080p with all. I'd also like to see a recently viewed or history for the video you've previously watched. I love the suggested list off to the side and often rabbit track on it and come across a great show but forget to favorite it.

@1mirg: If your using firefox you can actually fix that yourself so that it auto-wraps lines like that. Greasemonkey is the add-on. I use it here for a few things too.

I can assure you it does work, as I always get 720p, just as I have set (unless 480p is the best offered for a video).

If are trying to set it for a specific setting (i.e, 720p), try setting it to something else first (i.e., 480p). Sometimes CR displays that the preference is set to a specific resolution even though it hasn't really been set internally. Setting it to something different than what you really want (and testing it recognizes that) can sometimes get it back in sync. Once that is done, you should be able to successfully set it for the resolution you want.

Bjaker - can you add an auto play feature to the Roku app? I like to marathon series and sometimes fall asleep with it playing. I do it with the PS3 all the time, but would be nice to do it with the Roku (without all the noise the PS3 makes and electricity it burns).

Also, HD would be nice, but my tv upconverts pretty good.

It would be awesome if the CR Roku app would auto play the next episode once it finishes playing an episode.

Add indication when last video of a series has been posted so users will know that a series has completed. Alternately, flag last video of a series as END.

I don't know if the new comment format for latest news articles is permanent or not but it isn't good to have that format

In my opinion, it makes it easier for comments to get buried, and it makes it more likely that if you don't have an agreeable opinion, you get down voted to oblivion so you can't even talk about what you think of the news unless its the same as the majority

I say go back to the old format, no down votes or up votes on comments or anything, just back to the format from before this

I didn't see it in the forum rules, but I think there should be some kind of rule that discourages posts that add nothing to the thread topic. For instance, sometimes I see the thread OP make a really long opening post, and as a result, sometimes people will make replying posts along the lines of "It was too long, didn't read." And that's all they would say. I mean, if a person can't make a constructive post, then he or she needs to refrain from posting. It's as simple as that.

I want to ask you something a little odd.

Please let me watch commercials.

Right now, every single commercial break in an episode is the same ad for Cruncyroll Premium. I imagine that you make much for from regular memberships than you do from ad revenue, especially since it's much easier to run your own ad than to actively acquire sponsors, but I just can't believe that it's productive for every single commercial break to have the same ad...twice in a row.

I remember a month or two ago the same thing happening with a cat food commercial with a very annoying song. Eight times, every episode, the same commercial, the same mind numbing song. And I don't even own a cat!

Now of course I'm not saying you shouldn't have commercial breaks, we already covered this, I want to watch commercials. Even though I can't justify the monthly fee for premium right now, I'd still rather support CR than use more nefarious means of anime viewing.

What I'm suggesting is: try to find some Individual targeted ads. I know this is a touchy subject with some people right now, and everyone is afraid google knows more about them than their mother, but I would much rather watch commercials that are tailored to me, and it works out better for the sponsors too. Spending money to advertise cat food to someone who's allergic to cats is a waste of their money. If they find they're wasting their money, they stop spending it.

Now, you want to keep the Crunchyroll Premium ad. I like it. It's got a sweet beat and it's shiny. I like it the first time, that is. Eight times an episode wears it down. I think once at the beginning of every episode would be much better, For those inclined to sign up for premium, it will be a good reminder that they don't have to watch commercials if they don't want to. And then once you have that out of the way, you can have the rest of the episodes be actual revenue producing advertisements.

Another idea might be to allow a single episode to be viewed in high definition every day. People that have only ever used the standard definition don't know what they're missing. Show them! Having let my premium subscription lapse, it's definitely the thing I'm missing most. I think a single episode in high definition wouldn't convince anyone that they don't need premium since they can already watch a show in high definition ( I mean, it's only one video) and I doubt the extra bandwidth cost would hurt too much. If it is, maybe try once a week. Then the only people to game the system would be those that only watch one episode of one show every week. If that's still not far enough, maybe only a single alotment of time not quite long enough for an entire episode, like 15 minutes.

I'm sure you guys know what you're doing, and seeing as I don't exactly have an MD in businessology, I imagine there's some subtleties that I'm not able to fathom here, but I wanted to give a perspective on some shortcomings you might have from my side of the fence.

TL;DR: Rep that CR premium, but do it intelligently. The same ad eight times is just silly.
