MattChristy wrote: Okami by far. All these new games focus around flashy graphics and stuff, but Okami made simple art look fantastic. Okami makes COD4, Halo3, Assasins Creed, and any other game, look graphically bad. Agreed. Okami blew me away, it made me realize how beautiful traditional Japanese art really is. |

Half Life 2 Duh!
It created the pathway of physics engine and basically what you see today in the new games with extremely nice graphics, Half Life 2 made possible, or at least was the first to do it. Therefore Half Life 2 wins! =] |

Yeah, it was the one game where I was excited about what the next village, boss, dungeon, etc. would look like. The excellent music in the game just made every area that much better, too. I can't wait for the Wii port.

Shadow of the Collosus was defenitely my favourite...Final Fantasy was nice, but it didn't have a far out landscape view. Shadow of the Collosus defenitely takes the vote for me. Beautiful areas, Amazing scenes, Breaktaking exploration.
