Why do you think the girls are attracted to Ryuuji?

well my personal guesses are

taiga- hes just there all the time and he grew on her like a bad case of foot fungus

ami - he doesn't care about her (VERY TERRIBLE) personality ( although it is not too bad when talking to ryuji)

Minorin- ...well.... ... ... i can't think of anything but that he doesnt laugh at her??

Minorin would like him because of how responsible he is. He works relatively hard and well, which compliments Minorin's ability to work as hard.

Ami like him because he accepts her for who she is. She can offer him most the desires the other girls probably couldn't.

Taiga likes him simply because he takes care of her. He helps her when she needs it, gives her the attention she desires, ect.

And.. I am confused on who the heck I want to end up with him.. This is gonna piss me off no matter what.

I completely agree as im also confused as to who i want him to end up with... the way it works is that he would probably go with taiga, Usually the way these animes goes is that he would get with taiga because of how they always stick together through hardships and that he is with her the most and can talk to her the easiest.... the fact that he takes care of her might also induce the nightingale effect where the carer falls for the cared... probably will come from the realisation that without each other their lives would be crap... but im always looking out for those animes with the crazy endings where anything could and does happen.

Im not actually sure that ive seen an anime where the protagonist who starts out liking someone else other than the main female lead but has more time spend with the lead female... but still ends up with the girl he originally liked.

its always usually the concept that the initial feelings are never true... (unless the anime does not have any other femals characters in a possible love interest)

well after having a nag and going utterly off topic id have to say that minorin would like him because the way that he handles things is very mature and usually energetic girls like that in animes... also his skills at cooking cleaning and household chores would give him similarities with her as she does a lot of cooking and cleaning, looking after her little brother and the responsibility would come from all the jobs she does...

Taiga would like him because of him being the one constant in her seemingly random lifestyle.. he does so much for her and cares a great deal for her id be surprised that she didn't like him, always cooking meals, cleaning, being a confidante, helping her with love troubles, helping her out of bad situations and generally being a nice guy to her also the rule of opposites attract may apply here.

to be honest i don't know much about the character of the last girl (nor even her name) but she would probably like him because he didn't succumb to her charms like most other guys do he remains neutral to her despite advances, (playing hard to get maybe)
Also he is kind caring nonaggressive and thoughtful whereas she is pretty much opposite thus both complement each others strengths and work against their weaknesses.
she also feels that they are similar as they both aren't easily understood and that their appearences are not what they really are EG

she is a model but in reality exhibits no model like personality and he is a really nice guy yet looks like a delinquent .

all that may or may not be accurate as it is what i feel, whereas others may feel differently (just my subjective view)

Read Ichigo 100%. I say read because I am not sure if the anime is as accurate as the manga is. So read Ichigo 100%, than you'll see why I am thinking he might not end up with Taiga.

It would be interesting if they did pull an Ichigo 100% with Toradora. I did like who he ended up with in Ichigo though (just wanted to say that haha). But yeah it is possible. As for who I want him to be with. I'm also at a total loss in this series which is really strange since I always have a strong pull towards one character, and slight one to another but it's almost totally equal in this one. But if I had to pick one it'd be Taiga, at least right now.

As for answering the topic:

Ami: As it's been said earlier because he likes her for who she is. He's very kind to her even if he knows what her "real" (I put it in quotations cause I'm she's much deeper than just the self-absorbed girl) self is.

Taiga: Well I don't think I need to say much here. She's comfortable with Ryuuji unlike with Kitamura who she is always freaking out around(she says this herself in episode 9), and they're always together and he's always doing stuff for her.

Minori: Hmm not sure about this one. Didn't she say that he understands her? And yeah he is responsible and hard working. And the whole he wants her to see ghosts thing. I don't know there isn't much to say about her yet, maybe as more episodes come along. But it does seem that she's starting to have a thing for him.

I wouldn't add the "He wants her to see ghosts" thing.
Maybe I'm not looking deep enough, but if you ask me I think he just wanted to follow through with
Taiga's plan. The whole "Prince Charming" thing. That's why Minori said that it didn't seem like something
that he would do (Since it was Taiga's plan all along)

I just found that Ghost thing to be an excuse. It was surprisingly shallow too. =\
That is, unless he started the plan for the purpose of coming to her rescue, and deviated half way through.

However I don't feel that's exactly the case.

Because it's a harem anime and it wouldn't work if none of the female characters liked the male lead. Unless, you know... Kitamura. But I don't like to think about that.

I still think he would end up with Taiga,Taiga n him were always together,he wud start to miss her if she ain't around , though i agree with the others as to why the girls like him, but i strongly think it wud be Taiga n Ryujji

There aren't many people who're really into the Ryuji/Ami relationship. I suppose
her "personality flaws" kinda deter people from picking her. Then again, Taiga herself
is full of personality flaws as well. (The difference is, that Taiga's make her likable, while
Ami's tend to force her to play the "Bad Guy")

Anyways, I'm interested in why you'd pick Ryuji X Ami?

i think this wud turn out as yes all of them like ryuuji and he wud have some feeling towards them but wud not definitly end up with either of them but i want him to be happy with minorin and taiga with kitamura

well.. cuz shes the only one my brain can project he and her to have a homely future tgt ^_^ with rryuuji being the hsewife of crse sounds loving to me
