Hell, I don't know, it'll probably just dissolve. Then again you do have to consider whether it is a blank page or if a Shinigami wrote on it beforehand. If you wrote on it, I stick with it'll simply dissolve. However, given the ink the Shinigami use in their writing utensils, it could be poisonous for all we know in which case you'll die. Really, was an entire thread necessary for this though?

Depending on the type of paper the shinigami use, both liver and immediate kidney failure would occur less than 15 minutes after immflamation. In which case, after the failure of three major organs, your entire body would begin to shut down. Nerve pulses released from the effected organs would then make their way to the brain in which would now cause you to pass out. While you are unconscious, remaining particles of paper would then enter your heart via circulatory system causing your heart rate to decrease the amount of blood pumped throughout your body and quite simply you will soon enter cardiac arrest.

I've eaten lined notebook paper before (yeah, I was a weird kid...in retrospect I don't know why I did that), but nothing bad ever happened. I'm sure if you eat the entire thing slowly, piece-by-piece every day, you won't have stomach problems.
