No offense for Jun fans, but if they would cast MatsuJun as Takuma, this would be his second time playing a role for Kotomi Aoki's manga-adapted-into-a-live-action-movie. And I don't want that, the first one was in Boku wa imouto ni koi wo suru aka I'm inlove with my younger sister as Yori, the older twin who is inlove with his younger sister/twin Iku. I loved the manga, it's one of my favorite mangas and Matsujun ruined it.

I would love to see a new actor that would play as Takuma. The Inoue Mao x Matsujun pair is already getting boring (No offense, I both loved them in HYD,but lets give a chance to other actors, who knows, maybe we'll love the new pair more ^^)

Kotomi Aoki's popular shojo manga "Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu" is being turned into a live-action movie, directed by Takehiko Shinjo ("Heavenly Forest"). Young actress Mao Inoue of "Hana Yori Dango" fame has been chosen to star in the film.

The story revolves around the relationship between Mayu (Inoue) and her first love, a young man named Takuma (Masaki Okada) whom she has known since childhood. Mayu's father is Takuma's cardiologist, and she learns that Takuma may not live much longer past the age of 20 due to his heart condition. When they were 8 years old, Takuma promised to marry Mayu, unaware of his own lifespan. But when he finds out the truth, he tries to distance himself from Mayu in hopes of sparing her the inevitable pain of his death.

Filming is scheduled to start in March, around the time that Inoue is expected to graduate from Meiji University. The completed movie will be released next fall.

interested! will try later!

Really? I thought he was OK in Bokuimo but then again I only saw the anime and film. The objection I have to another Mao/Jun work is that HYD is way, way too popular (and for good reason, haha). They're probably going to be known as Makino and Domyouji (or, rather, Domyouji and Domyouji after HYD Final, LOL) for the rest of their careers unless they do something HUGE, like "star in a Hollywood film and get an Oscar" huge, because HYD is such an institution all over Asia.

I love Jun, but the poor man needs some sleep (sexy, half-lidded stare = sleep deprivation) so let's give some new actors a chance. :)

EDIT: I just realised who Masaki Okada is and I'm excited that he's in a lead role because I love Sekime to death (poor Sekime, who's always overlooked) XDDDDDDDD
