the only games that I know have multiple ending are final fantasy X-2, star ocean, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Resident Evil

No I don't think you understand, it wasn't even released in arcades until Act Cadenza, which did away with story mode altogether, the origional Melty Blood and the Re-Act expansion had a story mode with multiple branching paths.

I'm not talking about different characters having different storys, I'm talking about a fully fledged story mode with branching paths.

Metal Gear Solid had multiple endings, too. It can be fun, but if a game has got, say, 4 different endings and the gameplay is always the same...it's boring then to play it over and over again.

Okay no matter how much i look at it.. It seems it is still a multiple ending game..
