~CLANNAD (How can one simply forget an anime that has you full-blown, nose-running, tears-coursing, hiccoughing, sobbing, BAWLING crying four times in fourteen eps?!)

~The Fruits Basket manga (The anime–meh, not so much. It was interesting, but it only hinted at something darker beneath the initial cheery romantic comedy atmosphere until the whole Kyou thing at the end. The manga, however, had me wishing there was more for days afterward, and didn't end the story at such an annoying place.Nothing felt complete in the anime, but in the manga everyone's stories were brought to a satisfying conclusion. It was beautiful, romantic, absolutely gut-busting hillarious at times, and sad and dark at others. A very rich, wonderful read.)

~La Corda d'Oro ~primo passo~ (What can I say?? It was my first real shoujo (my experiences before hand were Sailor Moon and Pita Ten, both of which are shoujo but not the best kind) and my first reversed harem, as well as my first encounter with more modern anime art and really, really good subs. Besides that, it's just flat a brilliant anime. The ending sucked, to tell the truth (Hihara fan!) but the music, the bishies, the story, and the art were all amazing.

~Chance! Pop Session (It's an older anime, so the art and character designs were less that fantastic, but it had excellent music, characters, and a great plot. It had me teary eyed at times, the ending was great, and the characters developed significantly over the thirteen eps. Even if it isn't a true story, it makes you feel like you've just witnessed a miracle at the end. My only qualm with the series is that since it's a music oriented anime, they need more songs. Throughout the series, they only even sing a couple and never come out with anything new.)

~Ginban Kaliedoscope (The characters are amazing and it's funny as hell. End of story.)

~Romeo X Juliet (romantic, a dark storyline, and a great twist on the classic Shakespeare. T^T)

~Saiunkoku Monogatari (I've never seen a more versatile anime: It had great characters, a great plot, a good balance between hillarious and touching moments, and it knew when to be serious or lighthearted, romantic or .______., and a whole list of other emotional juxtapositions.)

~Sola (the ending amazed me. It's funny how just the words "OI! SORA! DAISUKI!" could make me cry that hard.)

~The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (it left me speechless. I loved the ending, the characters, the plot... Everything was just so well done. I doubt I'll ever forget the saying "Time waits for no one" now.

~Windy Tales (the sheer beauty of it was almost enough to make me cry. It was beautifully aimated (though some may disagree with me–experementing with animation does have it's price at times) and it never got hung up on any one point. It was just simple, every day adventures that just happened to involve girls with the power to manipulate the wind. It was simple as "The girls were walking home late at night and met some little boys playing kick the can who could also manipullate the wind" or "Nao's father got a motercycle and she loves to ride it" and beautiful in its simplicity. If you're looking for a "the lives of millions could be at stake" or "we could change the world" anime, this isn't the place to look, but for a story that makes you feel like you could just jump up and start flying you ought to check this out.)
