Does anyone feel that the series is kinda making Nagi a secondary character? I mean the past few episodes have always seemingly had her as just a bystandard while the main focus has been on the other girls. It also feels like not much plot development is going on and we are already on episode 10! I mean their has been almost no mention about Nagi being a god or getting rid of impurities for a while now. It is kinda making me worried...

Also anyone else figure out that they would have a Lucky Star moment from the very first scene of the episode?

That episode was pretty funny. Though I felt sorry for Tsugumi. And I think as far as Nagi goes it does seem that she's not that important anymore but I think next episode will focus more on her. If I interpreted the "preview" correctly.

It seems like you're looking for a usual anime story pattern. Expecting major plot development by episode 10? Do you need to go to restroom or something? Relax.... They're just following the pacing of the manga. So let's just chill and see what happens to rest of the story. Being romantic comedy, this show has freedom to be more episodic than non-comedy genres.

Your seem to forgetting though that this anime only has 13 episodes in the season with a lot of material still left. It is just that to waste a few episodes on pointless stuff that has no revelance to the series shouldnt be done with a series thats original work is far enough in to fill the entire anime season. This isnt Naruto where it can get off with 2 years of fillers and still have more episodes to come.

An anime should take the manga as far as it can go with what it has is all I am saying.

Its just that.... hmm how to say this.... OH! Its like writing a paper, but your limited on the number of pages you can write about it. You have to make the most of it by using the major points of what needs to be written, you cant just throw a joke in the mix in that kinda situation

Also I just think the anime is not being very respectful to the title character the last few episodes. We still know very little about it and for a sudden major plot development to appear as it nears the end is kinda dumb. I think its better to have a slow buildup to the climax of the ending.

Honestly I had no idea this is going to be only 13 episodes. To me, I don't find anything wrong making some deviation from original manga story. Besides we haven't watched upcoming episodes yet, so let's not jump to conclusion. If they're going to make 2nd season, god bless them. Since Kannagi is comedy, we know that show is episodic to begin with. From your anime viewing experience, you're pretty much aware that major plot development starts at final 2nd or 3rd episode on episodic series. If Kannagi was continuous series, then you have every valid reason to point out early major plot development.
What is the point of making animated version when directors don't have freedom to make minor changes or make his own interpretation? If anime looks and sounds exactly like manga, isn't it better to read manga at your own pace than wasting 25 minutes of your time watching the show?
Besides, they have been following the manga chapters to the last episode. We should worry more about how the director and the writer will present original manga story as its season climax.
We know that certain directors are good at interpreting original materials and some directors don't. That's life, isn't it? Nothing is perfect. So let's just relax and see what happens.

My interpretation is that a 13 episode anime should have atleast made some major ground work already, just look at toradora. Either theyre going to pull a stroke of genius or this series has a second season, oh was this a romance comedy? I forgot since there isnt any romance in it since episode 6!!!!!!!

I just kinda feel we have been left in the dark and its already so late, I mean hell Chao's Head is much more confusing but atleast it started to make sense by around halfway through the series and we get some idea where its going now.
