Kaname is NOT a creep. He happens to be the only person who cares mostly about Yuuki and her happiness with him. Secondly, Kaname is the ANCESTOR to all Kurans and Yuuki is a member of the Kaname family and her brother's dead body is now in Kaname's soul.

I didn't read the manga before, and had currently seen up to Ep 2 of Guilty only. So I'm just saying out my opinions based on what I know and what I think.

Read the manga... it has a whole lot of things that the anime doesn't have. Trust me, it's a whole lot better and more informative. BTW, if you're sticking around with the anime, check out episodes 7 and 8.
