I like to listen to instrumental music, techno and such. Basically music that doesn't have vocals. Because I always start to sing the lyrics and can't concentrate on what I'm reading. But honestly when I'm REAAAALLY into the manga I'm reading, I have to be in complete silence XD

Yes I do. Especially when there's a new song that came out I would always listen to it while reading a certain manga. And for some reason, when I would just like to listen to it I would remember the manga I was reading. Its like the scenes are flashing in my heads while the song is playing. So I would kinda automatically think that the song is the theme song of the manga. XD Weird right?

I almost never listen to music when reading anything - pretty much any noise at all is just irritating for me when I'm really into whatever I'm reading. The only time I'll play music is if there's some other noise that's way more annoying and distracting than music, such as people mowing the lawn - then I drown it out with instrumental music.

I used to, for short period of time (about a week), but not long after that period I started feeling the effects. Every time I was listening to one of the songs I would listen to when I was reading Manga, I would get an image in my head of the manga I was reading at the time, which felt sort of like Brain-Washing and stop doing it since then.

But the music must be in sync with the situation in the manga or else it would be like:

but yes, sometimes I listen to music (rock/heavy metal of some sort) or I will have the TV on even when I'm reading manga. |

When i read mangas, if there is already some background sound around me, i don't listen to any. but if it is quiet, i listen to usually some j-pop or songs that kinda match the atmosphere of the manga.

yes, i listen to random ones. i just shuffle my music player and listen to them.
