nope, cant do it its like reading a book for me it has to be completely silent so i can bring what i'm reading to life in my head. Even manga i play out in my mind like watching it as a anime even though it has the pictures.
It might seem wierd but my vivid imagination totally rocks makes reading manga that much better.

Well I'm usually listening to music anyways, so why stop when I'm reading? It just sort of becomes some background noise I suppose, blocks out more annoying sounds (re: people around you trying to get your attention).

Depends if I'm starting to read a series or if I'm just going to read the latest chapter.
