being white is hard man, and no, I don't mean being caucasian, that's easy. I mean white as in - I am three shades away from milk white. It's so hard because the caucasians make fun of you and the albinos won't accept you either. It's not our faults that we were not born with the ability to tan! You Jerks!

Yep, in high school most of my teachers wouldnt really care if I did my work or not just because I get good grades or after they know you turn in your work they hardly check it. I look at my papers and they dont mark anything on it and get the grade then I look at a friends paper and they get writings/comment and such.

As for getting treated differently not really, most of the time I show respect to anyone and they give me respect back. Though when I do meet a filipino say... one that works at a restaurant, they usually give me more food ... and when I was at an airport there was this woman who was filipino who was handling the bag checks and they put ours before everyone else ... so primarily for me it doesnt give me any disadvantage at all though I do look hispanic and when some people are making fun of hispanics and they see me and they say oh sorry didnt mean to offend you, I just say... that doesnt offend me, I'm not spanish lol...

Either it's your school or you have very charming pheromones.

:)

In the real world whether you're asian or not teachers check your work anyway.

Try missing school for a week and making some lame excuse.

Let's see what your teacher does bout that.

No. I'm living in my homeland.
But I get treated differently mainly because of what I am.

Today I actually ditched school with a friend for a while. We're freshmen so we're not allowd to leave the campus at all. Anyways we were at a quick stop and there was a cop right next to us in line. We were actually pretty nervous but when we made eye contact he just smiled, nodded and left. By the way my friend and I are both asian.

Also I've noticed that most of my teachers (the ones that aren't also azn) dont check my classwork (unfortunately they do check tests). They assume that because I am azn I do all of my work perfectly. So they just flip through the pages and give me 100%

I understand that this is awesome, trust me I'm not complaining but hey it's not very fair to the other non-azn students.

Similiar situations or the exact opposite?

But do even worked on your homework or test?
