Sometimes, maybe because I'm a blonde...
Some people around me tends to avoid me because they think I'm bossy or something.

Alright well I'm Asian too and..sometimes it really sucks since I'm not the stereotypical uber-smart Asian type. I'm actually pretty average when it comes to grades so..when people ask me to help them with homework and other work because they think I'm smart since I'm Asian...it doesn't really work out Lol. They also think for some reason I have super fast reflexes and because of this I probably get attacked once or twice daily...lol. J/k..but you get the point D;

Hmmm.... As a former teacher I have to say that I would like to defend my fellow colleagues but unfortunately some of the comments here are sadly true. The comment about how some teachers or professors do not scrutinize top students is esp. true. In the US teachers are actually encouraged to grade based on test scores alone and not busy work because a top test taking student is worth more money to the schools. Any American student reading this will know of the tests I am talking about in every state there are standardized tests mandated by state and federal government to rate the effectiveness of the teaching curriculum schools with better testing students earn more money for different programs and get a better school rating such as the A+ School Rating System. An A+ school on an average has more money than an unrated school.

Racism also is a horrible practice that is pretty much overlooked unless it is proved in a remarkably public way. I am lucky enough to live in a state that is pretty liberal and ambivalent towards race. Meaning we just don't care. If you are a freeloading, lazy idiot the majority of us believe that you are the way you are because i.e. you are a freeloading lazy idiot and have never applied yourself. If you are smart and capable it is because you actually give a frig. But that does not mean racism and sexism don't happen. I have found though in most Asian countries though that racism is replaced by nationalism and they simply don't like your country of origin.

Heh that's true.
One of my classmates handed in an assignment and got 100%.
Another guy didn't do his work rite, so he took the 100% assignment and handed it in.
Got a 60%.

The guy who got 100% was asian.
The guy with the 60% is brown.

Yep, when I go to the white neighborhoods all the whites think I'm gonna rob them and grab their kids hands to lead them away.

They always think I'm some kinda thug but I'm nothing like that.

^ Texas is actually a very nice place and 90% of the people here are great. It's mainly the old white people that overreact to seeing black folk in their neighborhoods. I love it here
