Fat Joe To 50 Cent, I Want To Break Your "New Teeth"

The seemingly never-ending beef between Bronx rapper Fat Joe and 50 Cent has reached a new height with a video snippet of Joe saying he wants to break his “fucking new teeth.”

In the upcoming March/April All Access full-length video, Fat Joe airs out his beef with 50 Cent admitting that he has more in mind than winning a fight with the rapper.

“He’s mad. We never fought a one-on-one. He should win. I’m being honest with you. You can put your money on that guy. I just want to bust his fucking new teeth he got. Wide-open, B,” Fat Joe said.

Despite the one-minute video snippet, Joe also proclaimed his hood status and warrior-like attitude.

What he doesn’t understand is that Fat Joe is straight brave heart. I’m a warrior, win or lose…I’m a warrior,” the rapper said.
The full-length version of the video should be released sometime next week at www.allaccessglobal.net.

Juvenile "Shocked and Devastated," Says Manager

The bodies of rapper Juvenile's daughter Jelani, 4, her mother, Joy Deleston, 39, and Deleston's daughter Micaiah, 11, were found Thursday night in their home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Deleston's 17-year-old son Anthony Tyrone Terrell, Jr. is being charged with the murders.

"It really shocked him and devastated him to the point where I've never seen him before," said Juvenile's manager, Aubrey Francis to the Associated Press. "Right now he is relaxing and trying to grasp everything of what has happened."

Because of Terrel's age, prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty against him. A preliminary hearing will be set next week in Gwinnett County Superior court, according to prosecutor Danny Porter. Currently, no motive has been announced in the killings.
Deleston filed a paternity suit in 2004, claiming that Juve was Jelani's father. The case was resolved peacefully by consent order in 2006, as both parties agreed the rapper was the father. According to Francis, Juvenile had bveen making regular child support payments.

Deleston was an actress, in addition to having seven-and-a-half years of experience in the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Snoop Reveals He Has Ghostwriters

If Hip Hop was a religion, an MC not writing his own rhymes might be considered blasphemous. Unlike other genres of music, MCs who typically spit raps written by others have been chastised (though Diddy and Dr. Dre seem to have gotten a pass). Now, with his super stardom bigger than ever, Snoop Dogg challenges the status quo.

In the current issue of XXL magazine, Snoop, “the only muthafucka that can do porno, coach football and have a cooking show”, openly admitted to having others write songs for him on his forthcoming album, Ego Trippin.

“I was watching Diana Ross get inducted into a Hall of Fame, and she got up there and named all of these great songwriters. Her biggest songs were written by somebody else,” Snoop says about the switch. “So I’m thinking, Wow, there’s nothing wrong with my pen, but I’m going to let other people write for me.”

The revelation may come as a shock to fans of the Dogg Father, but fans may be shocked further upon learning that one of the most creative songs to hit radio in some time, "Sensual Seduction", is one of the tracks Snoop didn’t pen himself.

“My boy Shawty Red wrote the song,” he reveals during the interview.

He goes on to possibly violate another of Hip Hop’s commandments by stating that he’s not into rapping as much as he used to be.
“I was probably a little doper back then,” he says when asked about 1993. “Right now I’m into creating a lot of shit. Back then, I was just into rap—the style, the flow, fucking you up, the baddest muthafucka, the coldest vocalist.”

Snoop also discusses the late 2Pac’s final days and sets the record straight on his involvement in the Death Row/Bad Boy beef.
The latest issue of XXL is on newsstands now.

I Snoop violating the rules of the game or just evolving as an artist? Speak on it!

The Game Incarcerated, Begins Jail Sentence

Compton rapper The Game reported himself to authorities this weekend, to begin serving his 60 day jail sentence. Sunday, March 2, the Geffen Records star reportedly accepted his arrested without incident, and began fulfilling the sentence which was determined in a Los Angeles courtroom on February 11, after a no contest plea. The rapper is in the Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

The sentence is in response to incident a year earlier, in February 2006, whereby The Game admitted to assaulting two men and aiming a pistol at one during a basketball game at The Rita Walters Educational Complex.

The rapper is currently working on his album L.A.X. The work is said to be a reunion with mentor Dr. Dre after a storied label-change and falling out in 2006. This album, which had been previously said to be The Game's final, also may sport an Aftermath imprint yet again.

At the time of his detainment, The Game's label The Black Wall Street was also in negotiations for distribution between Warner Brothers, Interscope and Sony. It is presumed that these negotiations will be tabled until the rapper's release from jail, expected in early May.

According to TMZ.com, the rapper will serve his time removed from general population, in an isolated cell.

Akon Aquitted, Now Wants Double Jeopardy

Whether or not Akon’s music has gained a respectful play count on your iPod (or Zune), you have to admit he has put in a ton of work since his hook on “Locked Up.”

Following up his late 2006 release Konvicted, Akon continues the slew of album titles with his third installment, Acquitted. Akon stated to MTV that “the album is practically done now,” and “we're trying to get it out by the first week of May.”
Though this sounds like a short amount of time for promoting a new album without a single in rotation yet, Akon seems to have a trick up his sleeve for the first record that he proclaims will be “a worldwide record.” That ace in the hole; Michael Jackson.
“The record is so huge. It's too big. [Michael's] the only person I could have collaborated with.”

Getting ahead of his current project, Akon gives out the title of his future album as well. “My fourth album is called Double Jeopardy. I'm already on it. It's all set up. If they want all the records now, it would take me 30 days to put it together.”
With that much on his plate, Akon is confident enough to consider his records as “timeless.” Will this claim hold up? Looks like we’ll find out in the next couple months.

Dipset Disbands???

Dispet was once a united crew that was pretty much on top of the New York street-rap world. Now, it seems things are far from where they once were. Turmoil and internal beef has plagued the crew and has caused a lot of separation.

Jim Jones has already expressed concerns with Cam'Ron. The two have had it out in public, letting everyone know that the crew is divided. Furthermore, Juelz Santana also spoke on his relationship with Cam'Ron, adding that he's got his own quarrels with Killa.

"Me and Cam gotta work some things out, bottom line," he said on Angie Martinez's morning show. "I came in the game when I was young right, so it's no reason for me - to have accomplished and did as much as I did - to be getting treated the same way as I was treated when I just came in."
Others are also stepping forward with personal attacks. Max B is planning his attack on Jim Jones with a mixtape tentatively titled "The Assassination of Jim Jones." As if that weren't enough, he recently told Thisis50.com that he is ready to ruin Jones' career.
40 Cal is also chiming in with his own track, "Dipset is Ova." The track is a shot at Dipset's leaders, adding that it has hurt the careers of the lesser known members of the Diplomat camp. Other members add to the song and each member sounds off on the issue and in the end show allegiance to Juelz's crew.
"Dipset was one of the most powerful movements out there [and] still is," chimes Bezel. "It would be nice if n*ggas would get back together but everybody gotta be their own man at the end of the day. So with that said, I really don't know what else to say except Skull Gang b*tch!"

PEOPLE world exclusive! Here's your first glimpse of Jennifer Lopez and her twins, Max and Emme, born Feb. 22 in Long Island, N.Y.

This week's issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday, features 12 pages of new photos of the pop star with husband Marc Anthony and their 1-month-old bundles of joy inside their Long Island home and nursery.

The happy new parents spoke candidly to PEOPLE about the pregnancy, addressing everything from Jennifer's weight gain to rumors of infertility.

Sean "Diddy" Combs partied the night away on Oscar Sunday – but he still had some time to think about baby gifts for former girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. On the red carpet at the Academy Award ceremony at the Kodak Theater, the mogul, told PEOPLE that Lopez (now the proud mother of twins) "is going to make a great mother.

"I'm going to send her some Sean John baby clothes," added the dapper Diddy, wearing a tux by Dolce and Gabbana. "I'm so happy for her. It's such a blessing."

Asked if he had any advice for Lopez, Diddy, who is also the father of twins, replied, "It's double the love, and it's also double the crying and the screaming, so it's a unique blessed situation. It's a rarity to have twins. She'll be all right."

I'm sure y'all heard the news by now, but here's a little of the article...

Good Day For TI, Bad Day For Remy
By Nile Ivey, BET.Com Staff

Posted March 27, 2008- Remy Ma and T.I. coincidentally both had their days in court today (March 27), one of which who pleaded guilty and the other who was actually found guilty. According to The Atlanta Journal Constitution, TI, whose real name is Clifford Harris, pleaded guilty on possession of unregistered machine guns silencers and possession of firearms by a convicted felon in which he was arrested for at the BET Hip Hop Awards last October in Atlanta, GA. If T.I. had been found guilty, he would’ve faced a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count.

While T.I. may have something to celebrate, former Terror Squad member, Remy Ma wasn’t so lucky. In a shocking turn of events, Remy Ma, who's real name is Reminisce Smith was found guilty this morning on assault charges, which where lowered from the initial attempted murder charges, and could serve up to 25 years in prison.

I Hate Soulja Boy! 12 year-old Arrested For Throwing Rock at Rapper's Tour Bus

In Bloomington, IL a 12-year-old boy was arrested and accused of throwing a rock through Soulja Boy's tour bus windshield Thursday night, police told The Pantagraph.

According to Lt. Pete Avery, the young boy told the officers that he hated Soulja Boy.

Soulja Boy was in town and had performed Wednesday at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. At around 7:40 PM Thursday outside of the Hampton Inn West, the 12 year-old allegedly threw the rock.

Department spokesman Dave White stated that the only other incident reported was a single fight between two women outside the Coliseum the night of the concert. At that time no one was arrested.

Lt. Joe Butcher stated there were only minor problems which were related to patrons having too much to drink, which could happen at similar venues.

The department used a supervisor and five officers on overtime for security for the concert to control the flow with more officers located near the venue as the patrons left, according to Butcher.

In other news, Soulja Boy will be touring with Lil Mama for the "21 & Under" tour starting April 11th - May 11th.

Jim Jones Addresses Cam'ron Situation

In an exclusive interview from the new Sub-0 DVD, Jim Jones speaks on the current status of The Diplomats and claims his Sony deal may be the last big deal an artist will ever see.
With the continued questioning on the status of his relationship with Cam’ron, Jones cleared the doubts and gave his opinion on his long-time business associate and friend.
“Shout-outs to Cam. Killa, where you at? Cam took a hiatus, you know, sometimes the music puts a strain on you. He’s a wealthy dude, man. I seen him Christmas Eve,” Jones said.
Despite rumors of the Diplomats breaking apart and no longer together, Jones also clarified the speculations. “It’s always Dipset. We all got our own ventures that we’re doing—that we become bosses of. But Diplomat is the bird that flies high. For the most part, it’s always Diplomat. That’s what got us here. That’s the umbrella,” he confirmed.
In early October 2007, the Harlem rapper signed a multi-million dollar deal with Sony Records. Jones claims that the signing would have a greater value than past monumental deals and may be the last great one for all artists. “I did a venture with Sony that is probably better than the venture Dame [Dash] had when they did Roc-A-Fella. Nobody won’t probably get a chance to get any more deals like that in the crisis that the music [business] is in,” Jones said.

Fat Joe Responds To Kay Slay's "Falling Out" Accusations

The Fat Joe/50 Cent beef has escalated in recent weeks while Papoose and Fat Joe have been busy with their own beef. With all this beef talk, Kay Slay has spoken out regarding the feud and the reason he and Joe had a falling out.
"He and 50 got into a situation, and [Joe] felt I shouldn't f--- with 50 because of the relationship me and him had," Slay told MTV. "But what it was, I had a relationship with 50 Cent too."

Joe denied Kay's claims and shared his side as well.

"Today was the first time I told anyone we wasn't getting along. I treated him like my brother. Took him to my house, cooked for him. I really loved Kay Slay. When I took the beef with 50, his answer to me was, 'Yo, they got money. I gotta get money with them.' I was like, 'Wow.' Because I got love for him, I never told you, 'F Kay Slay.' I never disrespected him. Now, with this Papoose thing, I heard Kay Slay was talking greasy. I don't think you should do that," he told MTV before shining light on Kay's side of the story. "I understood he had a relationship with them...He started shying away from me, and one day I confronted him, and he was like, 'I get money with them.' I was like, 'Wow.' He just went the other route. It was crazy. It was sad, 'cause I treated him like my brother. I thought he would be my friend 20 years from now."

Later, Joe also opened up about plans to release his next single.

"The second single is featuring Plies and called 'Ain't Saying Nothing,' ... That's sure to be a banger. That's produced by Cool & Dre, going straight to the clubs. 'Cocababy,' produced by Danjahandz, that's my favorite song on the album."

Game Joins Fat Joe/50 Cent/Papoose Beef Triangle

If you’ve heard the new street single “Big Dreams” from The Game already [click to listen], it’s apparent that his distaste for 50 Cent is still evident.

This was reiterated the past weekend when Fat Joe stopped by Baltimore’s 92Q Jam’s radio station to promote his new album, Elephant In The Room. An inordinate amount of people called in, including a few hip-hop artists, but none of the phone calls was more striking than Game’s.

He repeated a line from “Big Dreams” and stated, “I’m Curtis kryptonite,” sending Fat Joe into an ecstatic frenzy. Game then went on to say “Ayo Crack, I got your back. Soon as I got home I see you sitting on the couch on 106 & Park talking crazy. I’m like yo Joe is my man, I’m going in with my man.”

As we have seen before, Game and 50 Cent have been butting heads since the G-Unit split, but if there was any time for Game to gain an upper hand, it would be now.

Eminem "Scared" To Record With Lil Wayne?

In a recent interview with DJ Semtex, Lil Wayne was asked who he would like to work with but has yet to. After Weezy responded with unrealistic collaborations with the likes of Elvis and Sammy Davis Jr, he went on to discuss a more feasible collaboration that has yet to happen.

“I’ve never done a song with Eminem,” Wayne says. “I sent him a song and he ain’t do it. I didn’t like that but it’s all good. People be busy and stuff or a.k.a. just scared to get on a song with me.”

Wayne also discusses Kanye West’s contributions to The Carter III. It has been widely known that Kanye and Weezy were working together on the album but many are curious as to what extent West is featured.

“The first time, Kanye came and brought me 5 joints. The next time he came and gave me a CD with 15 joints on it. I had to tell him, hold on, please stop,” Weezy jokes. “On the album Kanye has a good three (songs) but in the files he has about twenty.”

Semtex then asks Wayne about his partying lifestyle and addresses the late Pimp C and his usage of syrup. He mentions that many of his fans are worried about him and his lifestyle.

“Well first off I don’t party hard because if I did, then I wouldn’t be able to produce the great music that I do,” he explains. “Second of all, I don’t party hard because if I did I wouldn’t be able to produce the amount of music that I do. Third of all, I don’t party hard because if I did my music wouldn’t be of quality. Fourth, sizzurp is a downer. It’s codeine that makes you tired. So you don’t want to party, you want sizzurp.”

“Fifth, I’m me and I do what the fuck I want to do and I’m going to keep doing what the fuck I want to do. And if syrup is what the fuck I want to do *shakes cup of syrup and takes a sip*, I’m gonna do it until I can’t do it no more,” Wayne continues. “And if you are worrying about me, I promise to God I appreciate it but keep your worries and worry about more important things like yourself. I swear I get on my knees every night and day. I’m fine. So if you’re worrying about me you are wasting your time because my God got me whether he takes me today or next year or never, I’m good.”

Whether or not this means a collaboration between Fat Joe and The Game for his upcoming L.A.X. album is coming, we shall see. Stay tuned.

$20 Million Suit in Remy Ma Civil Case Withdrawn

Makeda Barnes-Joseph withdrew her $20 million lawsuit against Remy Ma, according to reports.
Joseph filed the civil suit in December 2007, claiming that the rapper shot her twice in the abdomen, due to a dispute over $3000. The rapper was subsequently charged with assault and witness tampering.

Barnes-Joseph was hospitalized for three weeks after the shooting, and claims that Remy Ma shot her in Barnes-Joseph's car.
Recent testimony by friend Krystal Bolton supported Barnes-Joseph's claims; however, Remy's defense attorney Ivan Fletcher says that the shooting was accidental. If convicted, Remy faces up to 25 years in prison.
Barnes-Joseph may refile the lawsuit at a later date, and may be waiting for the outcome of the trial before continuing the civil case.

Redman and Method Man's Blackout 2 Still Coming

With poor record sales holding most artists and labels from releasing new albums on a timely basis, Redman promises a handful of new releases from himself this 2008, including the much-anticipated Blackout 2.
The highly respected and overly animated New Jersey rapper has firmly announced his upcoming projects.
“Me and Meth are coming out with Blackout 2 this summer. Muddy Waters 2 in the winter—or the beginning of ’09. Gilla House's album—we signing to Koch,” Redman told Sitdownandstandup.com.

He also expressed his diligent work ethic and the amount of time placed in the studio. “I’m a studio bunny. I stay in the studio at least 15 hours a day,” Redman confessed.

While keeping the details scarce in regards to the Blackout 2 album, he did admit to wanting the legendary DJ Premier on their album. “I want him to get on something for Red and Meth. Premo, we need some heat, baby. We need some heat right now, man!” Redman exclaimed.
Although the album was initially said to be releasing on the same Def Jam imprint as the original, Redman made no mention of who would be releasing the album.

No Royalites For Young Buck

Although rumors of an alleged reunion with former G-Unit member The Game, a return to Cash Money Records and a perceived failure to participate in a few rivalries have caused his loyalty to be questioned, Young Buck has maintained several times that he is loyal to G-Unit. It appears that the loyalty may not be returned on the financial front. In a recent interview with yoraps.com, the Nashville rapper reveals that while touring with G-Unit is lucrative, he has never received a royalty check from Interscope or G-Unit.
"I'm the only artist on G-Unit that ever recouped off of an album, meaning I went off on this Buck The World project not owing Interscope and G-Unit shit," Buck explains. "I can say that much. I'm still waiting on a royalty check, period. I've never seen a royalty check since I've been signed with G-Unit. So, hell yeah, I'll tell you one damn thing, the show money is that good. I've never in my career cashed a royalty check. How you like that?"

The amounts G-Unit and Interscope spent on promoting both Straight Outta Cashville and Buck The World have not been made public. However, during a February interview with HipHopDX, Buck did admit he wasn't thrilled with the amount spent marketing and promoting his projects.

"I did feel there were a few things Interscope could've done [better] as far as marketing my project," adds Buck. "You know, getting me a little better of a budget as far as videos and stuff."
Straight Outta Cashville was certified by the RIAA as having over 1 million copies sold as of January of 2005. Buck also tells HipHopDX that, according to Nielsen SoundScan, Buck The World has sold over 500,000 copies since its release. Additionally, the G-unit album Beg For Mercy, which Young Buck contributed to, has certified sales of over 2 million copies. Representatives from both G-Unit and Interscope have yet to respond to the claims.

Fabolous Talks New Concept Album, Britney Collab

The paint hasn't even dried on his last album or his latest mixtape [click here to listen...], but Fabolous is ready to embark on a new project. With a theme behind his next album, some plans to release a film-inspired joint, and some Jay-Z inspiration, Fab is ready to hit the booth.

"I usually go around and just get with producers I feel I wanted to work with. This time I'm going off a theme," he told MTV. "I'ma put a theme together and just go off of that theme. Sometimes producers get lost trying to figure out what they think is the best type of shit for Fab. [They say,] 'I got this commercial joint for you.' So what I'm doing now, I seen a movie I want to theme the album after. Even take certain lines, different scenes out of the movie and make music behind that. At the same time, I can have the producer check the movie out, and he'll have something he can take away from the movie and come back with some joints. I wanted to try that this time."

"What Jay-Z did [with American Gangster], he took that Frank Lucas character and put it in the frame of his Jay character. That's what I wanna do. I don't wanna say I that I'm actually the character, but take some of his scenarios or some things I went through and tell it in my tone."

DJ Toomp, Kanye West, Just Blaze and Polow Da Don are only a few of the producers Fab wants to take part in the album.
"I think it will make me a little faster for some reason... When I just go in with producer and just make music, I'm really going in. I don't know what they are gonna play me. I don't know what I'm gonna get off the beat. It's pretty much whatever comes up. But this time I watched the movie myself, wrote some things that stuck out in my head and tried to make songs off that. This time it should be easier. Well, not easier, but faster."

In between-time, Fab is also collaborating with many singers, including Britney Spears and Ne-Yo. "I didn't get to kick it with [Britney], but the people from her record label was on top of that...I don't know what condition Britney is in right now. Hopefully — more power to her — she'll get in a better space and position. Somebody needs to sit her down, let her know what the deal is," he said of the Pop paparazzi queen.

He also added that working with Ne-Yo gave him another Jay-Z inspired theme.
