In a fight? I think Mihawk would win. Once Shanks lost his arm Mihawk refused to fight him anymore. Must not have seen him as his equal.

but even when shanks has lost his arm he still can fight mihawk equally...
so i vote for shanks... the true pirate!!!
but, i also love mihawk... he's so mysterious and powerful too~~~ just with 1 thrust he can blow up a huge ship to dust!!!

as for now I think I'll go for Shanks with the incrible haki I've seen on him. . .well. . .its not yet revealed what are the two powers of the two of them. . .but as far as been revealed. . .SHANKS FTW!!

i say mihawk just cause 2 hands are better than one and also the haki only works on WEAK people so it wouldn't even faze mihawk

well again, whether to say mihawk rules or shanks rules really depends on how much the author of one piece will actually show to us about one piece...see shanks has some haki as noted above while mihawk...well nothing really major has been said about him except for the fact that he had one big sword and a big special sword at that...really the information about both of them and their powers hasnt exactly been released yet probably in the near future the author will decide to give zoro his last battle or some luffy vses shanks battle... and from that probably from that we shall finally find out about their powers then again the information about shanks and mihawk might slowly be released out i mean it could be like in 1 episode: "shanks?! you have that power?" "yes", and then slowly release more information in later episodes probably spread it out amongst a season to really get the audience going..to conclude really you cant say for sure that either one of them are actually beat the other one up...but you can comment on the "coolness" of them like how shanks has quite virtually no fear or how fast mihawk in carving up a ship...

I love both they're both hot and powerful. but while shanks has a more laid back and fun loving attitude Mihawk has the strong silent serious type with attitude thing going on that i really like so.....i choose MIHAWK
