HELL YEA.....i honestly think with the Circumstances of his HAVING 2 kill his Clan, he tied the loose end up nicely wit the" 2 measure my capacity" thing...Sasuke was Emo, But who wouldnt b, ya whole Life Did a 180 from wat u know it 2 b......he could have took sasukes eyez n lived on....But he Gave His own 4 his Baby brotha...I think i speak 4 all big bro's in saying that Was so damn Honorable!

sasuke is VERY lucky to have a brother such as Itachi. For what Itachi did no brother would have done.
*Spoilers*
Chapter 416 page 13 sasuke states:
"Itachi gave his life to protect the village, but i am more saddened by the loss of his life, i didn't ask him to sacrifice himself for peace. And now, knowing the truth, there is no way i can do as he wished and protect konoha. And i'll never forgive those three elders, the whole village are accomplices, trading Itachi's life for the peace they enjoy."
and in Naruto chapter 416 page 14 sasuke states:
"the reason why Itachi couldn't kill me was because my life was more precious than the village, i feeel the same way, itachi's life is more important to me than the village...."

Therefore Itachi is VERY kind, and Sasuke realises that at the wrong time, which is very unfortunate. I believe that Itachi could've easily beat Sasuke, although he LET his little brother win and bring him death. =(
