Ya, In my eyes. Itachi took an oath to protect his brother from the truth. In a way of speaking. Itachi shelted Sasuke from knowing the real truth. I do agree that Itachi is the reason why Sasuke turn hatred by taugting him when they met. Try to get him to get stronger. He was trying to tell Sasuke that there is more ninja that is powerful, if he cant lay an arm on Itachi, he need more power. unless he would die in someone elst hands.

I still believe that Sasuke will turn good at the end very soon. I dont see no point for Sasuke to kill Naruto or they both dying, cause it would defeat the purpose for Naruto training n kepting his oath to Sasuke. Then if Sasuke does die, Naruto would die as well. losing his best friend would snap him like Sasuke, which would let Tobi, Madara take over the world.

Ya, it may seem Itachi was an bad brother, but in some area, he was trying his best to help him.

Itachi had a good plan in which he would destroy the clan and have Sasuke kill him and, as a hero, rebuild the clan with a new reputation. Unfortunately, it went apocalyptically wrong and now Sasuke is in danger of being lost. Sasuke was meant to be a hero, not a criminal.

Yet, I think he can be redeemed. If Naruto's supposed to find the solution to true peace among all Shinobi, getting them to forgive Sasuke, one man, is nothing in comparison.

itachi had a horrible plan and all he really did was turn sasuke into a monster.
he brutally tortured sasuke and made him watch his parents being cut up over and over, manipulated him into living a life of misery, torment, hate and revenge, and even planned to brainwash and enslave him to be konohas puppet because sasuke didnt turn out the way he wanted. what the fuck did you expect, dumbass? of course sasuke lost his mind especially after the second torture session put him in a damn coma.

Sasuke was meant to be a hero, not a criminal
.
if that were so, itachi wouldnt have mindraped him and told him to hate and live in despair and revenge. revenge only leads to more revenge. itachi of all people should have known that. after all itachis true plan was brainwashing sasuke against his will and FORCING him to be a hero so whatever he did to make konoha think he was a hero, sauske had no choice and would have lost his free will anyway.

~~~~~~!Some Spoiler warnings!~~~~~~
Good older brother...more like a messed up one! I do like Itachi but if I'd been asked to kill everyone I knew, including my family...i dont even know. At least he didnt kill Sasuke.
But instead he left him to grow up practically by himself with no love and support of his older brother on the way. And its funny that before we learnt the circumstance in which Itachi was ordered to kill the clan, most people hated him. Now people realise that he did 'care' for his lil bro they love him!
Sure, he did have his reasons, but his plan didnt work out now Sasuke is some evil guy wanting to desroy Konoha.
Hopefully Sasuke will turn 'good' again (which I'm sure he will) Then 'wise, smart, brave' itachi will be right all along
