Hmmm hard to say really, if you think about it humanity has been at the center of the cross hair since the beginning. I mean we have had some close calls. Did you know that in 1995 World War III almost broke out over a simple mistake? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegian_rocket_incident
So overall i think humanity will survive in one way or another no matter the disaster(Unless of course the world literally blows up/falls apart).

Forget sNorway-- KENYA!!! ONLY IN KENYA~~! WE GOT THE LIONS....

I think classism is going to get really ugly in our lifetime. An overcrowded world isn't going to make for good neighbors.

Yeah I agree. Overpopulation is going to be nasty.

I think the human race will end in a tie, during extra innings.

If I got to pick how it would end, Id go with a nuclear holocaust, for 2 reasons (assuming I survive the inital blasts).

1. So I can see a mushroom cloud form.

2. To see how long it takes society to collapse, and for people to succumb to their animal instincts and start killing each other for food /water and that good stuff.

I mean if the world is gonna end anyway why not do it in style and have it provide me some entertainment at the same time.

But if i had to guess, i'd say a outbreak of some kind getting on board the airline network and going global. I mean all it takes is 1 person infected with something to get onto an airplane to fuck up a country. Then after that first person spreads it around a little, then person 2 and person 3 get onto airplanes going to different places, causing massive outbreaks in those 2 countries, and then people from those 2 places get on an airplane or boat and go somewhere causing outbreaks there too, and the cycle continues until you have a world wide outbreak of a virus with no cure. That's how I see it happening.

As the last page of Nostradamus shows, the human race gets to choose whether we are wiped out or we survive, but we must start taking action. Or we will have no choice in the matter, and we shall end. The alignment of the galaxy can cause cataclysmic events and we will die, or it shall just effect us for a year or two. Then again, it could be way worse, or a sort of enlightenment were the human race evolves and everything is good.

You know whats really interesting.... In my first post I mentioned supervolcanoes, and look... the Yellowstone Caldera is in the news. They say it prolly won't erupt, but some seismic activity is taking place.

Heh, I would like to see what happens if it does actually erupt.
Be rather interesting to see what / how people do / react.

But it wouldn't be a massive explosion that happens all at once, It would most likely be a series of smaller vents, that shoot streams of ash and debris miles into the atmosphere. It's most likely just going to relieve the massive pressure slowly rather then all at once. But the sheer volume of ash vented from those smaller side vent's will still be enough to do some serious damage to the global climate. It would cover all the eastern United States in ash and dust, So evacuation by any air breathing engine (car, truck, plane, and so on) is completely useless, as the air filters would clog in no time, but the West coast for the most part would be fin, because the winds generally blow from the west to the east. But the global climate would still suffer some serious damage.
