Some rumours in Asia the other day is that Super Junior will tour Asia for a second time, film their second movie work, and this may possibly bring Super Junior to a higher level in the music industry.

This is a good opportunity for the 13 individual, and different Super Junior members to perform their actual skills. Super Junior is the only foreign singer invited as the special guest on Taiwan’s biggest music awards: Golden Melody Awards.

To be held at Taiwan Arena, Taipei, June 27th, Golden Melody Awards recognize as Chinese’ most prestigious music awards. Popular stars from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan are invited to perform on this award.

Super Junior released their 3rd album in Taiwan and topped many Taiwan’ music chart. In addition ‘Sorry Sorry’ choreography becomes very popular in China, Thailand, and other country in Asia.

Super Junior will attend this year 20th Golden Melody Awards and this can be viewed via The Eastern Satellite TV

[090623] Super Junior covers So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Gee’



Super Junior had appeared together with So Nyeo Shi Dae on ‘Music Journey Lalala’ to be aired on 24th June for the special episode of ‘Sounds Like Teen Spirit’.

And they performed hits that they did not normally perform. Members KangIn, LeeTeuk, SungMin, YeSung, KyuHyun, RyeoWook and DongHae did a cover on So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Gee’. While So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny and SeoHyun covered Super Junior’s hit ‘Sorry Sorry’ in the acoustic versions.

Through the covers, both group had showed off their vocals and also charms. Both groups have spent much time preparing for their performance on this show.

Also on this episode, Super Junior’s SungMin performed on an acoustic guitar with Sunny to perform the song ‘Falling Slowly’.

For Music Bank’s mid year special on the 26th June 2009, members from SHINee, 2PM, 2AM, and Super Junior will perform SNSD’s hit song “Gee”. It is not confirmed whether it will be similar to Wonder Boys but they will be likely performing.

The episode will air on Friday, 6:30pm KST.
On SJ’s official homepage, SJ’s rep said that it would be Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, and Sungmin who will be participating in the performance. XD (why wont they let heechul do it? !!!!)

[090626] Super Junior SungMin injures knee in Music Bank performance






Super Junior SungMin has injured his knee.

He had fell down during the rehearsal for KBS 2TV Music Bank on 26th June and had hurt his knees.

A staff revealed that SungMin was helped offstage after the accident. A SM representative also added, “He was sent to the hospital for stitching after the accident.”

But even though he is injured, SungMin will still be performing on stage tonight on Music Bank. The SM representative said, “SungMin wanted very much to perform. So he will still be performing tonight as planned.”
