Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide haruno_tenshi wrote: i just wanna share this... Boys Over Flowers the highly anticipated korean version of Hana Yori Dango or in Taiwan, Meteor Garden, had already started airing last Jan 5th... it took about a couple of days for the subbers to translate and add the subtitles to the first two episodes so that everyone who can't understand a word of korean can enjoy watching it... anyway, having watched the first 2 episodes, i was very much content (so far) with the story... they did stick to what was originally done in the japanese version... the only difference would be what Geum Jan Di did to Goo Joon Pyo when she was declaring war. Makino Tsukushi punched Doumyouji Tsukasa, while Jan Di gave Joon Pyo a nice roundhouse kick that sent him flying while Ji Hoon, Yi Jung, Woo Bin watched in amazement... i like the kick better than the punch... and yes, it was perfectly executed. ^^ more on kibum: watching kibum playing the character of Nishikado Soujirou through me off a little bit... he's such a cutee, at first i refused to accept that he had been cast to play the role... but after a few moments, i've come to accept it and i admit... he actually suits Soujirou's character very well... hopefully he isn't a womanizer who changes women/girls every week. kibum debuted as a model/actor right? well, acting really suits him, other than modeling and singing and dancing, of course... he is what we call a triple threat, one who can sing, dance and act. modeling would just be a bonus... but when you're modeling, acting skills are also a requirement... can't wait for the rest of the episodes to come out and be subbed... especially when it's kibum's character's turn to be on focus of the story... i put it in a spoiler because it might be too long... Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide for the benefit of anyone who doesn't know, Nishikado Soujirou's character in the original japanese manga is a traditional tea master, as was portrayed in the japanese series... anyway, he's the more artistic one in terms of the family business... unknowingly to those who are used to his womanizing ways, he's had a first love when he was a young lad, a frequent visitor to his mansion of a tea house who also happened to be a traditional tea master like him but was on the more average side of the money class... jirou, as he was called by sara(childhood friend) thought that sara liked his older brother so he kept his feelings hidden and they slowly grew apart... they met again through yuki(makino's bff) when she attended a tea ceremony class taught by sara... jirou also found out that sara was getting married to another guy and came to, let's just say, 'part ways' or 'set things straight'... after that, through yuki's persistence, jirou finally found out about sara's real feelings towards him at the time when she asked him to meet him on top of a building at 6AM in the morning... that part was actually sweet and unique... who would've thought that the sun would actually help sara tell her feelings to jirou... if only they'd met on that day... i think things would've been a lot different... and so, i'm eagerly waiting if the korean version will be following the japanese story line or if they're going to be changing it a little bit... i can't wait for episode 3! i was right to put nishikado's story in a spoiler... it got too long for its own good! is this some kinda news about super junior? if it is.. i don't catch it. please explain briefly. thanks. |

Spanish singer plagiarize a Song from Super Junior
Look this carefully! this news was published in HATO fanclub (latin American and Spanish Sj fanbase): “In this musical world, there is a music festival called Eurovision Song Contest, where all the european (and some asian) countries send their best contestants with brand new songs to represent them in order to win. It’s a great contest, believe me, I follow this contest since 8 years ago and, what I’m about to say is something that it’s still unbelievable for me. In Spain, the method they had to choose their contestant in the Eurovision Song Contest is to hold an internet open poll where all the songs (455 songs) are uploaded to a webpage and all the people (not including spanish people) vote for their favourites. I was voting for all the ones I liked when I found out something so disgusting, so humiliating for all of us ELF. Click this link and then, press the play button to listen to the song: http://www.rtve.es/television/eurovision2009/candidatos/adriel.shtml Yeah, that’s right. It’s the instrumental version of U with other lyrics… That’s not fair at all!!. He broke one of the most important rules: to make a song fully original (lyrics and music). Eurovision-spain.com, the official spanish fanbase of the Eurovision Song Contest wrote something about this case, case that I reported, this is the quote: eurovision-spain.com said: disappointments and doubtful songs in RTVE.es - Adriel | Solo Un segundo: Published before october 1st 2008. Using the instrumental version of U, a hit song from the Korean Boyband Super Junior (SJ) that was published in 2006. Adriel has said in the Myspace forum that he did use the instrumental version because of lack of time, and that later on he will remake the song. I do not think that is an offense or is disrespecting them, in a way that demonstrates Suju is gaining more popularity ^ ^ But it is just my opinion Credits: Hatofamily.org (Latin American and Spain Super Junior fanbase) & helsic@lj English: DongMei@hatofamily.org |

Super Junior, Kangin's busy schedule and upcoming drama.
Kangin of Super Junior is scheduled to star in a new drama titled "하자 전담반 제로 (translated as Ha Ja Squad Zero)." The show will air at 11 am every Saturday on MBC's cable channel "MBC Dramanet". The first episode will air February 14th. Kangin will play the role of a new employee at a marriage consultant agency. His demeanor is supposed to be like a childlike innocent boy, who loves reading comics / mangas. Many people are wondering how Kangin can balance out starring in a drama with his currently full schedule. He's currently filming for "We Got Married" and also has his own radio show. He's also supposed to be working on Super Junior's 3rd album. Though, the shooting for "We Got Married" is on and off (few hours here and there). His radio show is regularly scheduled but doesn't take too many hours. As for Super Junior's 3rd album, it's all up to the remaining 12 guys. source: allkpop |

Band of Brothers make music
SuJu’s Heechul and Kangin along with Trax’s Jay and Jungmo are the Band of Brothers, one of SM Entertainment’s (SME) side projects. I guess you can’t blame SME for having side projects since there are so many talents available in the agency. Why not just mix and match them, huh? So fun, wheee! Anyway, the Band of Brothers came together for a showcase at Hongik University on Jan 13 at 5pm. It was recorded for Mnet. The quartet had been practising for the showcase for the past three months. Heechul banged on the drums while Kangin played a mean riff on bass. Meanwhile, Jay serenaded the crowd while Jungmo strummed the guitar. The showcase will be aired on the Mnet channel on Jan 23. No, fellow Malaysians, we will not get to watch it on TV...yet. Source: Kpopped! |

Super Junior 3rd Album Updates
Sean Alexander, a songwriter/music producer from Los Angeles who has worked on Shinee’s “AMIGO”, DBSK “You’re My Melody, and Taeyang “Sinner” is co-writing some material for Super Junior’s Third Album. He posted something on my MySpace profile regarding one of the song titles on the 3rd album: In addition, Jimmy B., who has worked on Shinee’s Replay is co-writing stuff for the 3rd Album, as well as Steven Lee, who has a lot of Japanese hits to his credit. cr: Sea Alexander on Myspace and sarsee@soompi, sapphirepearls |
