Bad new player!
The "Larger" function (for those of us who don't have a star) is worse now!
Compare:

BEFORE


AFTER


It's almost like this "new" player takes the video and makes the image 239857258 times sharper.

Here it is not resized:


-_- I want the old player back.

Hmm...........that's not true, even for star supporters, certain videos despite being in H.264 quality looks really pixelted and sharp, like the picture u show. It depends on the quality of the videos being encoded.

MPEG-4 is a suite of standards which has many "parts", where each part standardizes various entities related to multimedia, such as audio, video, and file formats. To know more about various parts and what they mean, please see the entry for MPEG-4.

H.264 is a standard for video compression. It is also known as MPEG-4 Part 10, or AVC (for Advanced Video Coding). It was written by the ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group (VCEG) together with the ISO/IEC Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) as the product of a partnership effort known as the Joint Video Team (JVT). The ITU-T H.264 standard and the ISO/IEC MPEG-4 Part 10 standard (formally, ISO/IEC 14496-10) are jointly maintained so that they have identical technical content. The final drafting work on the first version of the standard was completed in May 2003.

the videos have awesome quality i love it its very clear but a bit slow but its still good hey since i update flash player i cant get into main chat room can u help me?

i'm nt sure if its the bandwidth or sth..but after this beta mode is released...perhaps it gave better video quality to the star members. but it seems to mi (normal member) lik the normal videos became of poorer quality?
