Dogs are man's best friend. Have ya heard of that? That's the good point about dogs. You love and trust them and they return the love and trust back. But! Dogs are not capable of taking care of themselves. They require lots of patience, love, care, concern... And... they make ya angry REAL fast. Chewing on mats, peeing on the wooden floor ( Spoiling it, making a thousand dollars fly away just to pass out waste ). So, that's really... not so good. Cats on the other hand, are independent. Not that they aren't naughty, but they tend not to seek as much attention as a dog would. Bad thing about them, most cats just like to mind their own business, so really my choice, but good too, in a way, they wouldn't bother ya too much. But dogs... they need training. So I can't really choose. Really... I would like a mix. Lol, like that's even possible. But both cats and dogs need love, care and concern. SO on the other hand, do you need you're capable of spending away about at least an eighth of the day to take care of your pet? Plus, you might be a busy person like me, * shrugs * Yeah, I need to so projects and work, hardly have time for a pet, okay, I admit. I have a turtle. But thinking about it, I even forgotten I had a pet turtle. And as you know, there are many pitiful pets out there starving. So, well, I'm going out of point... But I can't choose between a dog and cat. Neither will I even consider to own one and having to take up the responsibility. Anyway, my advice is please do not buy a pet if you can't really take care of it... There are already enough pets dying out there. People are cruelly throwing them out on the excuse that the pets are a nuisance... In the first place, why even bother to buy them?? They could have led better lives. Apparently, my parents bought a dog, but it died. Because my brother had dropped it when I was trying to get it some water. I'm sorry, Holy. I hope anyone reading this gets my message. And sorry for going out of point.

i love both but i prefer cats beacause they are quieter, softer, and(not to put dogs down) smarter. my reason for this is dogs are just too loyal. if u through a treat over the side of a cliff and told him to go fetch it he'd probably gladly go, where a cat would look up at you thinking "idiot you go get it" i also like hearing cats purr^^ so cute
