Anything not covered by the RIAA. Use RIAA Radar to check.

But that's no promise the band or the label or whoever else won't try to sue you, of course. But your odds are much lower than with the RIAA.

I dont think anything is actually going to happen. This whole thing has been going on for so long nothing new is going to come out of it.

I checked the RIAA Radar you talking. Hmm... it seems some asian albums are covered by RIAA.
It's much convenient if the site can check just a particular song, not the whole album.

meh.

It seems that way, doesn't it? Godawful, I didn't really realize what happened to my limewire since it was always on a horrifically stalled "you are now connecting to the network" for days at a time with no progress of ever actually getting onto the network. Didn't think much of it, just said the usual "fuck that shit" until I stumbled across a song that made my panties moist with anticipation.

So now I have moved onto bearshare since the greater majority of their shared songs are encoded with DRM but fortunately, I have SoundTaxi to convert WMA to MP3 and onto my iphone. =]

iTunes Library easily converts WMAs to MP3s. =P

I don't use Lime Wire anymore. I stopped since last year. Before I could download stuff, others are downloading my stuff at the same time. So, it took a long while to get mines.
Besides, the things I got in LimeWire were pure blah. They were fake songs composed of how much they disliked G. Bush.

Oh indeed iTunes converts WMA to MP3, but not if the WMA files are protected with DRM.

haha.. i've read this on yahoo last night.. anyway, i think this will not succeed.. of course, not all people have the money to buy original albums which are highly-priced.. whatever they do, the music industry will still be like that..

I dont think this is possible as not all IP companys are gonna be able to keep track of every house that downloads music and they would lose massive business as people will just leave the company and go to a new one
