This loser then kissed her against her wishes, showed some pitiful concern for her and when she still didn't change her mind he responded by saying he'll kill her the next time they meet. How much more pathetic can this guy get?

Zero knows that he hates purebloods after what Rido's former fiancee Shizuka have done to the now-vampire hunter.

If he really, truely, purely hates purebloods, why did he still drink Yuuki's blood after knowing she's also a pureblood? Why kiss Yuuki? Why before this even drink Kaname's pureblood just to stay alive? To me, that hate-pureblood thing he has going on is a really lame excuse. Even Shizuka did not hate all vampire hunters after her lover got murdered. She just focused her vengeance on those involved. Sure she may have been willing to sacrifice innocent people to achieve it, but they were never committed with such prejudice. IMO he's just a wimp who's afraid of dying and also a selfish brat who can't stand things turning out against his wishes. Even as a child he just wanted everything HIS way, pestering Yuuki to stay away from Kaname just because he himself hates vampires, never giving a damn for Yuuki's bond with Kaname.
