"What else could she want from me?" Eonna screamed, struggling with the first soldier that was tall with sharp features.
"Stop struggling with us, ma'am," grunted the second, who was short but good-looking.
Eonna squirmed around in their grips and finally got loose, but fell right on her butt. It didn't hurt much, but it didn't stop her from "yow"ing either.
She looked up at them through her lashes and pulled her full lips down slightly. Her wrists were still bound behind her.
"My apologies, ma'am..." the first started to say, but the second hit him.
"Are you crazy, Jae? This is a very cute, troublesome chick here. Don't fall for her tricks! Now let's get her to the... the place where they keep the wanted people," the second one ordered.
Jae nodded and gathered Eonna up. Each walked on either side of her with a hand on her upper arms. Passer-bys looked at them, but didn't say a word.

“Then why don’t you just do it and tell her?” asked Sango as he opened his eyes and looked at Jyaden. Jyaden looked wide-eyed at Sango, but he only looked away, “How long were you awake?” asked Jyaden pretending to notice Sango’s remark. “Long enough to hear that last part” said Sango with a smile. Jyaden looked away and continued healing Sango’s wounds, “So then you know…” said Jyaden. Sango nodded, “I knew the entire time…that you loved Silver, but I didn’t want to say anything” said Sango as he looked at the sky. Jyaden looked at Sango, “Why?” asked Jyaden, but Sango only smiled, “Because she would have laughed at it if I would have told her” said Sango with pure honesty in his voice. Jyaden was dumbstruck by Sango’s words, all he could think of was Silver and Sango’s words.

Shima sat in her throne as she sensed Darkness appear above the other regions. Shima smiled and chuckled, “Oh little Racul…oh, I mean Darkness…your just as reckless as you were those many years ago when you first gained these powers of yours”. Shima began to laugh like a proper lady that was just told a joke, “I wonder if you know what your doing? You of all people should know that if you rob people of all hope…they will always retort in an attempt to get that hope back” said Shima as she stopped laughing and placed a stronger barrier around Kazurial and another barrier around Sango and Shirube, “Maximillion Noel, Sango Shinzo, and Shirube Kaze…those three are the reason you are like this now…but with these barriers up, you will not be able to target Shinzo or Kaze directly…this should make things much more interesting for me” laughed Shima as she stayed fixed on Darkness’s aura. "By the way Camilla...you may leave if you wish, now that Noel is gone...you no longer need to stay here" said Shima with a smile as she looked at Camilla.

Looking away from him, he pouted. Sango was probably right, but he was still upset by this. Now feeling ashamed for saying aloud he wanted to hurt him all the while he was already injured, Jyaden redirected the conversation. "So, what happened to that guy...the leader of Judgment, I think."
Sango looked away from him, his expression briefly going blank but the boy could still see the pain in his eyes. "My sensei...he's dead. Before I killed him, he told me to keep his sword," he motioned his head in the direction of the two sheathed blades.
Jyaden couldn't feel much for the dead guy, but he guessed the man meant a lot to Sango. Offering apologies would be too shallow, even for a watcher like him. "That must be tough, losing someone you looked up to for a long time."
Sango cracked what appeared to be a grin. "Yeah, you could say something like that."
Sighing in the awkward silence, Jyaden finished the last spell, the last of Sango's wounds closing up. "That should be enough. You might be a little sore, but I think you won't be lame or anything."
Sango sat up cautiously, rolling out and stretching his arms. Showoff, Jyaden grumbled to himself.
Feeling a faint dark aura, he looked about, but it was too far away to know what it was. I wonder what that was.

Holding her composure until Shima said the words, her shoulders immediately sagged and she drooped, feeling the weight of Noel's death all around her. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," she mumbled. "Just be sure to finish what you start. Either protect those two or don't, it's your choice."
Walking out the hallway, Camilla made her way to the outside, feeling the moist breeze on her face. Stepping up onto the wall's ledge, she leaned forward, letting her body fall forward till she was vertical and falling toward the ocean, a large tendril leaping from the water and surrounding her before she hit and absorbed her in.
Feeling the familiar velvety, languid motion of the sea, Camilla grinned to herself. now, where to first? she wondered idly floating but knowing she was gliding in the water at a good, steady speed, feeling like she was water herself. Probably best not to get in trouble with the humans again. Noel won't be there to save me next time. Hm...which country now? she smiled, sad for Noel's death but glad that he taught her a few things that she would try to remember to take wherever she went.

The witch, Lehazal, looked at Eonna hard, "Darkness has begun an attack."
Eonna swallowed, "I know."
"You are stronger as a halfling."
Eonna shook her head as she pled, "No please! I don't want to be this way anymore..."
"When will you learn to accept yourself, Eonna?" Lehazal yelled.
Eonna sat back in the wooden chair she sat in across the wooden table from the witch who prefered to stand. They were in her little kitchen in her hut.
"Eonna. I am not cold hearted. I am one of the rare hearth women. Good witches. I would never make you strive to find a way to turn yourself human to break my "curse" because you were being yourself," Lehazal said, crossing her arms.
Eonna looked at her in surprise. The woman with piercing blue green eyes and curly brown hair that was tucked into a bun. Her dress was simple and navy blue.
"But why... what was..." Eonna couldn't finish her sentene.
"You should embrace what you are. Love yourself for who you are and what you do to survive. I am disappionted but now totally pissed," Lehazal said firmly. "You embrace who you are and the full moon will no longer hurt you. Darkness is taking over and you need to give it all you've got. And you have potential."
Eonna wiped away a stray tear, "I think I know what you mean. What you want..."
Lehazal smiled.

Sango struggled to his feet with pure rage in his eyes, “Damn it Darkness…is there no low that you won’t sink in order to get what you want” said Sango as he fell on the ground because of his injuries. Jyaden tried to hold Sango down, “You have to calm down Sango, your aura hasn’t returned completely yet” said Jyaden. Sango struggled, “You heard what he was said, we have to stop him now” said Sango. Suddenly, he saw something sparkle on the ground. Sango calmed down and grabbed was a small black gem, “Sensei…” said Sango, then suddenly, a huge burst of energy rushed into both Sango and Jyaden, replenishing both there auras almost instantly. Sango stood up and looked at the gem, which shattered after the burst of energy. Jyaden looked at Sango, “What was that?” asked Jyaden as he stood up as well. Sango smiled and looked at the sky, “That was my Sensei’s aura…I guess he wants me to finish the business he could not…” said Sango as he looked down at Jyaden. “Jyaden, do you think you can get us both the Sadoyus…” asked Sango with a serious look on his face. Jyaden looked up at Sango with surprise, “Don’t you want to contact Silver first and tell her you are alright?” asked Jyaden. Sango lowered his head, “I do…but I can’t risk it right now, if I do that now…Darkness may find out where she is and go after her, I don’t want to put Silver in danger” said Sango as he looked at Jyaden. Sango could tell by the look on Jyaden’s face that he didn’t like the idea of not contacting Silver, but he knew Sango had a point. Sango looked at Jyaden and was surprised to notice something different about Jyaden. “Hey Jyaden…is it just me, or have you gotten taller after my Sensei’s aura surged through us” said Sango. Jyaden was surprised by what Sango said, but Jyaden examined his body and Sango was right, Jyaden had grown taller by a few inches and he also felt a little stronger. Jyaden smiled and clenched his fists, “I can’t believe it…your Sensei’s aura weakened the seal Darkness placed on me those many years ago” said Jyaden, almost bursting into tears. Sango smiled and walked over to Jyaden, “You can thank him when you meet him on the other side, but for now…lets us his gift to stop Darkness” said Sango with a smile, a smile he inherited from his Sensei.

Jyaden grinned fiercely from ear to ear. "All right, then; let's stop this s.o.b. and send him somewhere warm." Clapping his hands together, he chanted a spell, the magic coming to him faster and more efficiently, a strong green flame surrounding them and solidifying into small, separate platforms with non-scorching flames to serve as barrier and wall. "Just a little bit more damage and I may be able to destroy Darkness's seal." And perhaps the other ones put on me as well, he thought as the platforms floated into the air, hovering for a split second and diving over the edge, leaving Kazurial and plummeting to the ground.
"Try not to wet your pants," Jyaden teased. The speed at which they fell steadily increased and stopped abruptly when they were around fifty feet from the ground, pausing and taking off in the direction of Sadoyus. I haven't had this feeling in a long time, he though happily. Maybe after a while I'll have my original and more powerful form back--and the power. To protect these friends I made and Silver He would NOT give up. The two were flying at an incredible speed. Only a minute more and they would be there.

'Hey Shyuu, I don't think you should be eating that much.'
"I can eat however much I want," Shyuu replied.
After another dead end, Shyuu and his raven, Reila, were resting in a small tavern. They had been following a false lead for two months, and the two friends were exhausted. But before they rested, Shyuu had insisted on dinner first. And it seemed that he was making the most out of it.
'Geez, it's like you haven't eaten in months! The food isn't going to get up and walk away you know?' Reila said.
"Yeah, I know. But we'll be leaving tomorrow, so you know what that means?"
'Oh crap. We're going to have to live off your cooking until we get to a town,' Reila sulked.
"Exactly."
'But if you eat all this, you're going to have problems flying tomorrow.'
"Shut up."
"Did you say something boy?" the owner asked.
"Yeah, my bird here needs some food. Can that be arranged?"
"Of course," he said, then walked off to find some bird feed.
'You know I prefer people food,' Reila complained.
"Yeah, but it's not good for you. Besides, bird feed is cheaper than steak."
'Yeah, yeah...'
Reila went off mumbling unhappily as Shyuu continued his feast. When he was full, he paid the owner and went up to his room to rest.
'Why'd I have to be stuck with such a cheap guy?'
"Why'd I have to be stuck with such a talkative bird?"
'Touche,' Reila replied.
"Maybe if you talked to people other than me, you'd find someone who'd buy you expensive food," Shyuu suggested.
'That would be great. A nice girl perhaps, but you know I can't. The only person I can talk to is you.'
"Oh how lucky I am. Come on, we need to sleep. Tomorrow's going to be a long flight," he said, getting into bed.
'Where are we going anyway?' Reila asked, settling on the windowsill.
"Azuriya. I got a new lead. Good night," he said, closing his eyes.
'Good Night.'
The two slept a peacful night, sleeping through the storm that brewed outside their window. When they woke up, Shyuu packed his backpack and the two ate light. Once paying the owner, giving him thanks, they left to start their trip.
'It's a good thing the storm died down,' Reila said.
"Yeah."
Shyuu walked, Reila on his shoulder, until they came to a comfortable take off area. Reila flew into the air and hovered, waiting for his companion. Shyuu closed his eyes and concentrated on the power within him. Soon enough, two black wings sprouted from his back, going through the holes in the back of his clothing. After a few seconds of stretching his wings, he flapped them and was airbourne with his friend. The two headed in the direction of Azuriya.
'You've become better,' Reila said.
"Yeah, it doesn't hurt as much anymore," he replied, banking left.
'You're finally getting used to it.'
"Yeah," Shyuu replied as the two flew off towards their next location.

Shyuu arrived in Kazurial the next day, and slept on his own bed for once. The next morning, the two had a big breakfast, then flew over to what they considered their "training ground". It was an opening within a small forest that was a short flight from his house. It's where Shyuu had trained in secret when he was a kid.
The entire day he practiced his techniques, perfected his moves, and tried new combinations. He performed defensive and offensive elf magic along with his angelic abilities. He spoke to the spirits of the elements and tried to speak to the other ones around him. He began to maneuver through the skies faster, becoming more agile as well. Then he just practiced bringing out and withdrawing his own wings. Shyuu was becoming stronger.
At the end of the week, after performing and earning some money, Reila and Shyuu agreed that he'd trained all he could in just this one sight. So the next day at sunrise, the two set out again. Only this time, they were headed to Sadoyus.

A few hours later Tyler and Natalie landed on the flying continent. "Thanks FC." Natalie said to the nymph who bowed then disappeared. "Let's find Shima." Natalie said. "I think the bitch lied to me and if she did I'm going to pay her pay." Her eyes blazed furiously.
"Uh okay." Tyler said nervously. Natalie in a temper was scary. They took off running for the huge castle set in the middle of the clouds.
****
"How could you?" Natalie screamed. "You could have easily fixed the shield. Why did you do that to us?"
"Because it was fun. Watching you all go weepy eyes." Shima laughed.
"You bitch!!!!!" Natalie screamed again.
"So will you fix it now?" Tyler asked stepping between the two.
"Maybe...whats in it for me? I already did them a favor once." Shima said.

"Anything you want!" Tyler exclaimed. "Money? Jewels? Riches?"
"Borrriiinnggg." Shima yawned.
Natalie took a deep breath to calm herself down and then said in a dangerously soft voice, "Shima, I thought they were your friends."
"Heh." Shima said. "I dont need friends. I find them to be very burdensome. Dont know why."
"Thats cause you're a bitch." Natalie said helpfully.
Shima looked at Natalie and said, "I wont help your Mom, because I dont feel like it. BUT I'll tell you a little secret, there is a barrier caster down in Umoba, who may be able to do it or then again maybe not." She shrugged and said with a smile, "Dont care either way."
She turned and flounced off, leaving Natalie shaking with fury. "I'll get her back, for hurting Mom and Dad and ..." Her fists clenched.
"Lets go find the Barrier master then look for Ethan." Natalie said.
FC the nymph appeareared before them and took their hands, soon Natalie and Tyler were flying towards Umoba.

Shima sat in her throne as she glanced behind her, “When did you get here, Akahito?” asked Shima playfully. Akahito stepped out from behind Shima’s throne, he didn’t look any more then five years older then he did when Darkness was defeated, “I’ve been here the whole time, and you know that” said Akahito as he glanced at Shima. Shima chuckled, “You’re right, I knew you were here” said Shima, Akahito turned towards Shima, “I can tell you weren’t being totally honest with them, what is the real reason you sent there mother to her home?” asked Akahito. Shima looked up, “Sharp as always Akahito, its true, I did manage to repair that barrier within her, but it appeared that she had contracted some sort of disease that could not be cured” said Shima, “A disease?” asked Akahito, “Yes, it looked like a disease that attacks the heart and bloodstream…it would have killed her if it wasn’t for my barrier, and it still could at this point” said Shima. Akahito raised his eyebrows, “I’m assuming it’s a disease that only affects her people, am I correct?” asked Akahito, Shima nodded, “That’s right, her people have a different kind of blood then humans…I sent her back to her home to see if they had a cure, and fortunately, they do” said Shima. Akahito nodded, “That’s good, but why didn’t you tell them about that?” asked Akahito. Shima looked at Akahito, “I didn’t want them to worry about her anymore then they had too” said Shima. Akahito nodded, “I understand, I came in here for a reason…that prisoner on the 23rd floor wishes to speak to you directly” said Akahito. Shima looked at Akahito and sighed, “So your finally willing to talk to me, Dr. Sune” said Shima as she stood up and walked out of her throne room.

Shima reached the 23rd floor of the great prison of the State Federation, the prison she was in control of as its warden. As she walked through the halls, many of the prisoners glared at her, others looked as if their wills were broken, but all of the knew on thing, they all hated Shima. Shima didn’t bother looking at them, she only passed my them, leaving behind her scent, which made the prisoners even angrier. Shima stopped in front of a curtain cell and looked it, compared the other cells, this cell was very small, only large enough to fit one person in it, while the other cells could fit six or seven people each. Inside the cell was a very old, frail looking man, he was extremely thin and his wrists and angles were both shackle to each other and to the wall, he was sitting on a very uncomfortable looking piece of wood the must have acted like a bed. “You’ve finally come, Miss Warden” said the man inside the cell as he looked at Shima, his eyes were full of intellect, but they were also rebellious. Shima stood up straight, “You wanted to speak with me, Sune?” asked Shima. Sune laughed, his laugh was graspy and sinister, “Your right, I just wanted to tell you I’ll be leaving this god-forsaken place soon” said Sune. Shima didn’t react, “I’m afraid that’s impossible, you fate is to die here, Sune” said Shima. Sune chuckled, “Are you sure?” asked Sune, Shima turned away, “I guess you’ve finally gone senile, old man” said Shima as she walked away from Sune’s cell, she could still hear him laughing. She reached the door that lead directly to the bottom floor and looked at the guards standing before it, “Increase the security on this floor especially near Sune’s cell” said Shima as she left the floor through the door and took the large elevator directly to the bottom floor.

Gorgon stared at the tall stone structure, a hint of mockery in his eyes. He looked at Ashiyana and the lady bowed her head and then extended her arms. slowly she began fading till she had become one with the air.
Ashiyana reappeared inside the castle and chuckled. "No mountain is unclimable. no information unaccessible and no barrier...unbreachable." She began casting a spell.

Gorgon stepped into the tower, his warriors trailing behind him and one more man that he had ressurrected especially for this purpose. He stopped, looked around then said. "He's on the 23rd level."
The man moved forward and slowly dissolved till he had become one with the shadowy darkness.

Gorgon waited and within a few minutes the man was returning, gripping a small man by his arm. The newly freed Sune seemed excited and he bowed to Gorgon. "Thank you. I knew I would be free of this wretched place."
Gorgon didnt reply and as he turned to leave, he saw her. A taunting smile touched his lips. "Shima." He said.

"I have to say. I make this place tight security and you waltz in and free my prisoner." Shima said. She looked at the man gripping Sune and said. "How did you do it?"
The man looked at Gorgon then at Shima. "I am made of shadows. I can travel in and control shadows." He said, his voice whispery.
"I see. Ingenius." She said and looked at Gorgon. "Only shadows can travel to and fro my barriers." Then she said. "What are you after?"
"You already know it," Gorgon said.
"The holocaust." Shima said and her eyes narrowed.
Gorgon took a step forward then went still, his head tilted to the side and then he looked at Shima and the amusement on his face was evident. "You have him here."
