Would be Bones if they continued with DTB. But they haven't made anything good since DTB 2 except for Un-Go which isn't that good either.
Nowadays dunno. A draw between a lot of them. A-1 disappointed with the real shitty shonen generic crap.
Perhaps ufotable. They're the only ones with consistent quality as of late.

Looks like most people can't tell difference between animation production studios and marketing/distribution companies. Even the older fans made mistakes. It's not a good thing if anyone here decided to set his or her career in Japanese animation industry. It can't be helped when most fans here who can't read Japanese credits and lack decent research skills.

Most CR users are well under 21 so it's should come as no surprise that they haven't learned to separate the two.

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't thought about the age group. Still, some people get irritated when he or she got corrected. Maybe the phrase, anime studios, itself is mistaken as all-encompassing "studio" companies like Warner Bros, Fox and etc.
