Yes for Naruto as CR signed with the owner of the US right Viz. For the others wait and see. If you know a given anime being already licensed for VOD service in US & Canada then it is unlikely for that anime to be available in US & Canada through CR. For anime companies CR streaming services is better than near nothing which was the state of involvement of those companies in legal anime streaming services. But that is the minimum lucrative level as CR will be a showcase to lure potential local licensors. The consequence will be the number of restricted countries increasing as they found more & more licensors in various countries. That's why i'm sticking with DTO (Download to own) service as streaming depends to much of the whims of the anime companies & licensors. Be aware that when the deals expired, the various anime companies can sign others streaming portal than CR depending which streaming portal offering the most lucratives deals. That will be as bad as negotiation for the soccer diffusion rights between various TV.

My patience is running out. The animes I would like to see here on crunchyroll are Natsume Yujinchou, Baccano, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Nodame Cantabile and Xamd.

Also its one of there main selling points/ titles for there exclusive anime downloads for PS3 at the moment. im actually kinda suprised sony haven't asked to have it taken of the site yet? The new ride back series would be awesome. or Birdy the mighty Decode R and Kemono no sou-ja erin but i think pretty much everyone would like to see Sunrise entertainment give CR some much needed Gundam lovin. oh yeah

Generally I'm a really nice person, but you had to go and take the episodes that I look forward to each week. You know my life is real shitty as it is, and you go and team up with the fucktards at VIZ who take away the aesthetics value of the anime, and only want to make a profit. The only reason I came to this site is to watch a series, and if I liked it I would buy it. Yes I buy my fucken' anime. Something I can say many of the piss ants on this site don't do. sayonara

Free accounts will have Standard Definition (like what's available now). Anime Members will have access to LQ, HQ, H264, 480P, and 720P, while normal users will only have LQ, HQ, and H264. Video quality depends on the source, but since we are getting it directly from the animation studios, it will be the best possible for new shows. Older shows from like 5-10 yrs ago may not have good quality videos. When do we get to watch it? The Anime Membership begins on Jan 8th. When it launched, Anime Members will get simulcast (access on same day it airs in Japan) for currently airing shows, while normal users get it later (currently 1 week later). For older episodes of currently airing shows (as well as older shows), we may release it on a schedule or all at once. We will have a release calendar (like a TV Guide) available soon! Sub or dub? All the shows will have English subtitles. Most will be soft subtitles, but may have hardsubs if softsubs aren't available. Subtitles will be provided professionally. We are currently exploring subtitles in other languages besides English. Territory restrictions? We try to get permission for worldwide broadcast (except for country of origin), but rights clearance is complicated! It will vary from country to country. We'll have a page with ALL the details soon! For example, Naruto Shippuden is worldwide except for Japan. Downloads? Not all videos will have DTO (download to own). Also, DTO is not covered by the Anime Membership and is a separate purchase. The Anime Membership is a subscription for high quality, early access, streaming. What shows will you have for the Anime Membership? We're currently putting together a list. Sorry it's taking so long~! We have to wait to announce certain things. But it looks like there will be roughly 150 titles available. If you have any suggestions on what you want to watch, just reply to this thread~! What payment methods are available? Credit card, Paypal, and postal snail mail. Also, for those of you who don't have money, you can get it for FREE (by taking like 2-3 surveys or signing up for things) We are currently exploring other methods like prepaid cards and things like PayByCash. Will they still be able to watch the anime uploads? Some have stated non-members are still able to watch it but after a 7 day delay.. but I have not seen any solid proof stated so far about this issue.
