(even though i really want another season). the reason is because the anime is practically caught up with the manga. =( what it entirely depends on is matsuri hino making more manga chapters. i guess once more chapters are out, a 3rd season might be considered.

I know this from a spoiler I read somewhere on this forum. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide In the manga, it's Kaname x Yuuki. In the anime, it's going to be Zero x Yuuki. The manga is still going past this scene, so you can expect that the anime will continue. Hopefully, the third season will have the coolest name and fantastic opening and ending. I can't wait! Oi. Next year. It seems so far away. Cheer on Vampire Knight!

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 12/28/08 also, it took 4 years of manga writing to produce 26 eps of VK. to produce another 13 eps might take 2 yrs at the rate the manga is being written. There might be OVA, but i don't think there's going to be any VK for 2009. I highly doubt there will be a 3rd season, i do hope so.

But! I say there is going to be a third season (at least, I hope so) because the manga is still ongoing. Or do (adapted) animes usually end before the manga? It's just my thought and hopes. Like I said, I'm new. . . . .
