i prefer subs.. but i don't really find the tagalog dubs as a problem. it's the english dub that i don't really like.

maybe because tagalog sounds more similar to the japanese language? and the voice actors pronounce the names well and try to sound as close as possible to the real thing. unlike in the english dubs where, for example, "nakamura" would be pronounced as "nah-ka-moo-ruh"..
i remember watching an episode of naruto at cartoon network.. i heard sasuke being called as "suhs-kay" so i just switched to a different channel..

well i prefer subs... i hate dubs...
but if we take into account the filipino viewers i think it's best to be tagalog dubs coz we all know that filipinos are illiterate when it comes to English and you can't read subs so fast when watching tv... and hey you can't rewind it when you don't understand some parts in subs so it's pretty inconvenient to play subs in TV...

well it sucks cuz it does not blend with the anime and its kinda wierd cuz they say some lines translated in filipino language then the object's name being discussed is in enlish

I prefer subs myself...minsan kasi parang "matuloy lang" yung quality ng pinoy dubs...

I think dubbing anime in Filipino/Tagalog is okay, since nowadays a lot of Filipino children don't understand English. . But I prefer subs. Sometimes when Japanese or English words are translated into Filipino/Tagalog, the content or idea changes ("Naiiba na yung pinaka-diwa nung salita.") That's my opinion.

I prefer to watch English-subbed Anime/Tokusatsu, especially if it is Japanese dubbed... Sometimes, I watch them without any subs!!

For me, watching Filipino-dubbed Anime isn't bad. The worst thing I would like to say is that they sometimes translate the insert songs (not the OP and ED songs).

Actually some are fine. I personally think that the tagalog version of Naruto is okay while School Rumble was great.
But still...

TAGALOG GINTAMA = FAIL.. EPIC FAIL
