Lexy (She sings too, but she raps better, I think, she reminds me of a Korean Missy Elliot)

Her English song with Masta Wu called Get That-

Yeah, thats true. I've listened to his 1st album and one of his singles from his 2nd. He gets a lot of criticism though, especially from americans.

Um...idk

Original Name: Chun Sang Ji Hee, English & Korean: The Grace and Japan: Tenjo Chiki

Mika Nakashima

Love her voice. She usually does the Jazz/Pop genre but she does others as well. Here's the song she did in tribute to New Oleans with Hurricane Katrina.

Shimatani Hitomi

This song was her first hit. She's moved a bit to Latin/Pop/Dance genre.

Anna Tsuchiya

Rock definitely suits her but she's okay in Pop too. Most know for the songs she contribute in the NANA movies/anime.

Nana Kitade

This song was the ending for Fullmental Alchemist. She has a good but distinguish voice so you'll know it's her by her style.

Ken Hirai

He has been praised by Babyface, performed with John Legend, and rumored to be gay. Gay or not, his voice and sound as well as his lyrics (songwriter too) has made him a popular singer in Japan.

L'Arc~en~Ciel

Again, another song from Fullmental Alchemist. Together for 15 years, they hace faced time but always stay current.

MONDO GROSSO

An artist of many genres, he's done work with people from BoA above here to even Amel Larrieux. His House/Acid Jazz roots has made him famous those he's underground most of the time.

Park Ji Yoon

Known for her controversial videos and songs like the on above, Park Ji Yoon is not just another pretty face. She stays in the Pop genre but she's known to stray from anything that's popular just enough for people to pay attention to her. She's now focusing onl her acting career so no telling when she'll come back to the music scene.

Baby V.O.X.

They've broken up and a new generation has emerge but the original group was good.

BoA

Idk what to say about BoA. Everybody should know her name by now. She's usually singing Pop but it sometimes has a R&B flavor to it.

Rie Fu

I like Rie Fu. She has an old folk sound...something from back in the day with a new twist. The video above is the ending theme from the anime, BLEACH

M.I.A.

I know people have heard of her now with her song, Paper Planes featured on the commercial for the movie,[I'll fill it in later]. If you haven't, here's the official video from her Youtube page.

You have a good taste in music, lol. Only a few I didn't recognize and only some, I know them by name, but just didn't seem to be something I want to listen to. But, if you like those Artists, you definitely, should check out the ones below. Think you will like them.

If you're down for Instrumentals, I highly recommend Nujabes, a Japanese producer who has like a Jazzy kind of touch to a lot of his songs.(He did some songs on Samurai Champloo)

Here's a song from his album Modal Soul featuring the Japanese rapper Shing02 who is also pretty good if you care to look him up.(And he also did songs for Samurai Champloo)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=LZ4LhgngbxY

and here's one of his straight instrumentals from the same album
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zjIki7tNPKU

I also like VERBAL from M-Flo & the Teriyaki Boyz

here's a song that features him & Lupe Fiasco
http://youtube.com/watch?v=mmyh2WQo6F4

DJ Honda is cool and he does a lot of collaborations with North American artists

here's him with Mos Def
